Are You Really Against Fields or Lance if they fall to #8...

Is Wilson really a given at #2? Everyone assumes it but I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if it's Fields. Many still think he's the clear #2 behind Lawrence, despite Wilson being the talk of the town more recently. Jets could have their cards very close to their chest and be targeting Fields. Lawrence is the only pick that is 100% set in stone.

Fields was #2 QB right after the end of the college season. I put more stock in that.

i think you strike while the iron is hot if one of the QBs falls to #8 because Darnold is to big of an unknown at this point ?.that also makes Darnold compete or let's say pushes him in camp in order to win the starting job instead of basically being unopposed. Then moreover on top of that if they both look good in camp even better especially if you draft Trey Lance who has the most potential.

Yea people just repeating profiling assumptions. So sad.

Yeah exactly. Can you imagine the crap Fields would be getting if he was the one who got a DUI his freshman year. “Off fields issues” would be in every draft profile of him. Mac Jones on the other hand...

“Was a turning point in his career.” It’s pretty sad. Fields was off the charts (literally) in that aptitude test for athletes. The man might have a photographic memory like Rodgers and Lebron.

(this is no way hating on Mac, he was a 18 year old kid when that happened. It’s just to show you he gets different treatment.)

    • Carolina Way is gone, it went out the window with the Belichick hiring. They'll hire the best coach they can, ignoring everything else if possible.    Athletic reports that the school's top two targets are Tommy Lloyd and Billy Donovan. They don't care the buyout for a coach either, they and the boosters are willing to spend and will be going outside of the coaching family tree 100%.
    • I don't think it's a homer though when I really feel this team can beat anyone.  The points that can be scored in bunches when the big three are on has high potential.  Moose has effort for days and IMO is the heart of the team.  And didn't see Miles becoming the team "vet" in the starting lineup just roleplaying lol.   We have to limit the turnovers though (Brandon Miller I'm looking at you bud, you are a bad ball handler) and some little things.   Colby off the bench is a cheat code and him and Kaulk have a nice little game going with the picks.    Sion playing every game and just getting better each game.  He has grit.  Grant and Green also grit.  We need replace Tillman with PJ Hall though.  Tillman looks like someone that shouldn't be on an NBA court, or at least with this team, he's just too slow for this tempo.   Even McNeely looked decent tonight and can drive.   If Kaulk and Moose could even be like 30% 3pt shooters man....
