Don’t mind him. I don’t agree with you on everything you align with politically but this guy is somehow trying to politicize grass... and not the grass the needs to be legalized in the state or NC. No, he’s trying to politicize the grass the Panthers play on. The draft needs to hurry the fug up and get here man.

you think that because it’s new it’s progressive and thus are apologizing for inherently unprogressive things

turf isn’t helping teams win super bowls

Looks like you are trying to veer into another discussion with that first statement, but to your second...turf definitely isn't a detriment to teams getting in and winning superbowls. Grass is better for health and aesthetics, but it won't interfere with our chances to win.

Which is dumb, but on par for Carolina, a fanbase known to prefer gutty 7-9 seasons with a lunchpail quarterback doing things the traditional way. So it goes.

Yes, of course. All other fanbases have the correct take 100% of the time and their management never make a decision that looks bad in hindsight. Thank you for your valued input and for trashing an entire fanbase.

....60% chance of going to the SB by having turf......

The other glaring analytic I saw is that over the past 10 years you had a 60% chance of being in the SB if TB12 was your quarterback!

If we had him and turf, that’s like a 120% chance of winning......Right?

the only owner in the nfl to do so, undoubtedly

TBH, I trust Tepper to build the Panthers brand. If turf, a dome, a new stadium... whatever he wants to do makes the panthers more popular, successful.. helps the city grow..

..I'm all for it.

Let the guy that grows money on trees grow the Panthers accordingly

    • Kon is a damn stud but it’s not any individual player’s team. All of the “big 3” are incredibly and equally important IMO. And LaMelo makes Kon way better (look at his shooting splits with LaMelo on the floor vs without. Also Moose and even Miles are important cogs. Honestly think we’re 1 piece away from being legit top contenders if the young guys continue to develop the next year or two. I trust this FO to be patient to find that piece within the next 2-3 years and not force anything. Plenty of time and even without adding anyone we have the pieces in place overall already to compete with any team.
    • We lost 2 very close and winnable games against top teams in the league while missing 3 critical players despite 2 of our top 3 players shooting unusually terribly. Still split the 4 games that Moose and Miles were suspended, winning the most important one vs the Hawks. This ain’t yo mama’s Hornets man. Hopefully Coby can go soon but even if not Moose and Miles are huge additions for our starting lineup and bench rotations. Schedule is pretty tough after these next 4 but I think we’ll take care of business the next 4 to get to .500 then finish slightly above .500 after that to get a 7 or 8 seed. Keep it rolling boys. Also Kon is having an insanely historic rookie season as a shooter. Like truly can’t believe my eyes watching this kid level of historic. Man what a fuging home run of a draft pick and exactly what this team needed to take that next step forward. He’s gonna shatter the rookie 3 point and franchise 3 point records. Has a real chance to be the 2nd best 3 point shooter ever or dare I say even get to Curry’s level (as a pure shooter, Curry obviously has way more to his game that has made him a GOAT).
    • I hear you but yeah like you say, above average. His numbers were good. You’d think it would be a no brainer. Anyhow… I guess the new staff is also fine with him walking?    I hope if we sign him there isn’t some secret issue of his that led to him not being valued.
