I wish there was a gif of that we could use.  That was game defining moment.  Only later to have Casey have a brain fart that took all the wind out if there sail's at the worst possible moment.

Most of the best have been said. Here’s a few more for consideration:

“Donkey Kong Suh”

”Hindsight is 50/50”

”Let the cat out of the hat”

”Not going to put them on a pinnacle”

”Hog mollies”

”You don’t trade a quarter for 2 dimes”

"If you see this face, that mean I scored."

"If you see this face again, that means I scored again!"

"He sucks. I wouldn't let Mark Sanchez throw me a paper bag sandwich."

"I don't make excuses. All I know is that whoever's lined up there, when they throw the ball, I've got to catch it. If you line my mom out there, I've got to catch it over her, too."

"That's what I do best: catch balls!"

"He can take his ass back to St. Louis and watch the fuging film, 'cause I don't play them games. And if I see him in the street I'm gonna bust him in his fuging mouth."

"Everybody wants to say The Golden Calf of Bristol is that difference maker. He wouldn't be on my son's flag football team."

"If you don't think I'm the best, you better check your reference!"

"Ice up, son!"

Not a Panthers quote but still a favorite of mine...

”our 45 is better than their 45”...

then, iirc, Rosario Dawson catches the the TD to close it out....

ironic that he finished his career here??

I just think about Rosario dancing in Clerks 2.

"A punt is not necessarily a bad play."

"At the end of the day, it is what it is."

And this dark one, "Never Forget."  (a reference to a bracelet Rae Carruth wears to remind him what over 18 years in prison was like).  He is not referring to Cherica Adams, the mother of his child that was murdered, or what he had done to Chancellor Lee, his son that he caused to have permanent brain damage and cerebral palsy--he was referring to the loss of his freedom.

    • A winning record would be nice, but I still have us winning around the 6 to 8 game mark. Realistically we should beat the Jets and Saints, that gets us to 5 wins. After that, we have to face a lot of potential play off teams and our divisional opponents. I think we’ll win 1 or 2 of those games to take us to 6 or 7 wins, perhaps 8 wins if we can spring a further surprise.  Is that enough progress for head coach and QB? I’m not sure, it will depend on performances and output. That said, it’s nice to be back in a position where we are thinking about the play offs.
    • I would tend to agree about not falling into the trap and paying a below average QB, but sometimes situations can “force” a team to pay that QB. For example, if we play ourselves into a 9-8 like record, then what options will we have in the draft? Or do we avoid the draft and trade for or sign someone in free agency?  I’m not convinced by the 2026 QB draft class. There’s some intriguing prospects but no one that really screams “draft me”. I’m not sure we’ve got anyone really that stands out as a trade candidate or free agent signing. So although we might not want to commit a big money contract to Young, him playing well and showing progress might force the team’s hand.
    • Realistically we would be looking at no more than a mid round pick for Dowdle or Chuba. Are we really that desperate for a mid round pick? Not really. I would much prefer us utilise the two RBs in a 1-2 punch similar to how we used D-Will and Stewart. After all, Bryce is not Drew Brees. He won’t throw for 300+ yards and carry the team consistently as a passer. So having a strong running game with a 1-2 punch will be beneficial to him, and it will also be beneficial to the RBs because we can spell them and not overwork them.
