One time for training camp, I drove down and went straight to the field, around 6-7 pm. I didnt get anyone rolling up to me but one of the grounds crew. 15 minutes of talking and he says, "Well Bas you need to leave now I got to cut the grass" This was after a long golf cart ride too, the grass look perfect and like it was just cut. I thanked him and had the long walk back to car, sure enough he was cutting the grass with one of the weirdest lawn cutters Ive seen. Years later seen the same ones at pinehurst golf courses.

Well I've seen two or three article links posted, but this one actually says grass ( in great condition) actually grips more (footwear pending also sometimes I think) during "peak torque" making it more likely to cause injury verses 3rd generation artificial turf.   https://www.americansocceranalysis.com/home/2019/1/7/turf-and-injuries-the-data-hurts

Not saying this is all correct, but this guy appears to have done his homework, or at least has looked up everyone else's studies and crossed them?

We are going to have our own dome in a few years. This stadium is being built to house a soccer team and multiple other events. Its not just a "Football" stadium anymore.

I think Cleveland used to spray the dirt green for much of the season.  You'd see players picking themselves up with grass stains that were too big to be from grass.  I'm not sure what they used to "paint" the field, hopefully not a solvent-based product but it was Cleveland!

      Bet didn't hit because the referee missed 3 clear corner kicks. I had a 5k parlay that would have been alive tomorrow if he didn't miss those calls as well. Super annoying

      I don't think it's at all a given that we have players who are good at driving the basket. I guess that depends on your definition. Bridges is 43rd in attempts in the paint Miller is 64th and LaMelo is 66th. We all love to see the lob threat but it's largely miniscule at this point in time. There's gotta be a solution here if LaMelo is to be the centerpiece because this is simply not sustainable if we want to continue to ascend. If he can't drive to the basket then that means we need to add another player to the core who consistently can. That would require moving someone like Miles Bridges. And that's certainly not going to be popular with LaMelo but something has to give here for what we are investing and we need to maximize guys like Miller and Knueppel on rookie deals while we still can. The three chucking is fine when it's working where the issue comes into play is there are no adjustments when it isn't and we just go into a shell and begin to look like the Hornets of yesteryear. That's why the offensive evolution of all involved is critical to us taking the next step. Getting to the play in is nice but we should have our sights set much higher. Right now though they need to take care of business against the Heat. All I ask is that they at least beat those fools. I cannot stand the Heat.
