the laughs continue from New Orleans.

#Saints veteran CB Patrick Robinson informed the team that he is retiring, per agent @Agentbutler1. After 11 seasons and a Super Bowl title, the former first-rounder calls it quits.

The Henderson move makes sense now…although he isn’t the answer.

Well they need someone at corner.  If you look at the corners on their roster they have Lattimore, Brian Pool, Prince Amukamara who's 90 and did not play last year, and a bunch of rookies and guys you never heard of or who have not play anything but special teams in years if ever.  Their DT are about the same.

Curious how many threads in Jets forums are saying "We shoulda kept Sam"?

Mostly what I saw was complaining about the media's coverage and making judgements before Wilson even takes a preseason snap. I don't think you'll see 'we shoulda kept Sam' until he starts balling out for us.

I did see this. It's from a Giants beat reporter, but it sounds like he was at Jets camp as well. I don't remember hearing anything about the Jets wanting Lance or Fields. It's was Wilson the whole time.

From what I've read, Steinberg isn't a real reporter. He's just a phony insider who makes up sh-t on Twitter.

    • "Talking about his rookie drops makes his trademark smile disappear. "'Those were the main ones, the bad ones,' Legette said in an interview with ESPN. 'It affected me in a way; how it made me feel. Just how we lost those games. It could have changed [the outcome].' Legette admitted the drops got into his head. "'It's always gonna be the next-play mentally,' he said. 'But it always will be in the back of my head, trying to focus on catching.''' https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/46015325/nfl-carolina-panthers-xavier-legette-tetairoa-mcmillan If I were to give X advice, it would be to continue to work on the mechanics. Make sure you look the ball into your hands and secure it. Everything else will take care of itself. I don't know that thinking about catching balls is the way to go. That could end up as pressing, kind of like the yips for a kicker. Be steadfast about the mechanics and just catch. It becomes just a natural occurrence or consequence of consistently working on the mechanics.
    • Thompson and Williams ended up being(so far) top 40 players by wAV in that draft. It was a better draft than we gave it credit for at the time, although Funchess being a bust didn't help.
    • No, my original comment was based on that obviously being a bad takeby him, if he said it.
