How much would YOU pay?

Since it is an all included in a charity auction, I am not sure if that is the case or not.

From the site:
Typically, the amount paid above the retail market value of the item is considered tax-deductible. The retail market value of an item is considered the cost of tangible goods and services received.  Winners receive a receipt containing the retail market value of their purchase that can be submitted to a tax professional for determining any tax-deductible amount. Please note that we're not tax experts and can't provide tax letters or tax advice.

If they paid $1000, but it included one night at the Ritz -- and the Ritz rate would be $500 normally, then they can only deduct the $500 above the cost of the hotel room.

Okay. Still should be a fairly sizeable amount, I would assume.

As to the others, before I pay to catch a pass from a famous quarterback, I'm going to go back and review my high school career.

You know the saying "there's a reason you play defense"? Yeah...I played defense.

I'd essentially be paying to drop a pass from a famous quarterback.

Make sure that contract states you will catch the pass. Drop the ball every time. Tom gets pissed. You offer him an out for 120k. Profit.

What would YOU pay to catch a pass from....

    -Delhomme

    -Darnold

    -Peete

    -Cam

    -Weinke

    -Beuerlien

    -Testaverde

    -Brian St Pierre

I would sacrifice the lives of my entire family if it meant catching a pass from Brian St. Pierre

Brian St Pierre could buy me a 12 pack of Mich Ultra and I might catch one from him.

I wouldn’t pay a dime.  If I was mega wealthy and looking for a tax write off? I’m going to see the aliens with Jeff Bezos in space.

    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
    • Didn’t get around to watching this one but looks like Pistons played their starters and actually tried…? Unlucky that they sit vs Magic, etc and try vs us. Hopefully we can beat the Heat and then Magic or 6ers with no Embiid. BUT if not, the NBA really should give us the lottery win this year like they did Mavs last year. Another high pick could be our final missing piece and have us as legit top contenders next year and going forward if we’re healthy. Or trade it for a Giannis type
