This is why you need competition for guys like this. 

You can’t really simulate pressure, but the pressure to keep your job on every kick is real.

Joey is easily bending to real pressure.

Joey Slye might just be the worst kicker this time has ever put out. He should have been cut after the disaster of a game in New Orleans in 2019, instead we kept him. Paying the price now.

Forget all about the QB competition....

This is the real competition....

Seeing how we can't put up 6, we going need someone to score, since PJ heroics can't save every play.

Couple more kicks at the end of practice. Both were good. So Joey Slye was 2-5. Dominik Eberle 4-5. Competition will continue Friday night.

So Joey Slye goes 2 for 5 on the day.  If I did my math right, 2 divided by 5 = 40% with a remainder of hot garbage.

That's fine. JJ has been the epitome of stability for literally ever...no reason to push him out.
