My question is: Why were there only 5 kicks for the entire practice?

I'm guessing it takes a few minutes to get a muscle bound dude out of the fetal position and back on his feet again.

He seems to push everything to the right, but he has the leg to make a 70 plus yard fg. Most kickers pull it left trying to add distance, really odd. With that said, I’d prefer accuracy over distance, those intermediate misses during the course of a game are devastating.

You are stuck in the Rivera/Hurney regime. Rhule/Fitterer don't play around

That guy is not a Panthers fan. He is a Jets fan that came over with Darnold. He literally has only known anything about this team starting in around April of this year.

Talking team history is not going to work.

Remember when people bitched about Graham Gano not having enough leg, despite hitting a 63 yard GW FG for us?

But we signed a guy we trot out there often to attempt such a feat and he never hit a single one.

I don't recall people outright criticizing Gano's leg strength, but maybe more of an insinuation tied to Rivera's reluctance to let Gano attempt 50+ yard FGs...particularly in 2017 when he led the league in FG% but had only ONE attempt beyond 50 yards.  That should have been more an indictment on Rivera IMO...it was always evident (to me at least) that Gano had a strong leg.  He was pretty routinely among the top kickers for touchback percentage.

    • Aggressive runner, hits the hole fast, and runs angry.  Just a few yards shy of the single game record for the team.  Absolutely phenomenal performance.  If the gameplan hadn't become weirdly pass heavy for the 3rd and first half of the 4th quarters he might have been flirting with 300.
    • I felt that way before the season started, but I'm sorry, he's already proven he isn't that guy, I don't need to learn anything more about him. He threw the ball 30 times today and could only throw for 198 yards, which was his 2nd best yardage game this year, he's just not the guy. Which means this season has already moved onto the 2nd most important thing going into this season after evaluating Bryce, and that's developing our best young players. You don't do that by only throwing 8 of your 30 passes to your best player who is still only a rookie.  Pepper him with targets and help develop him so he's ready to take a huge leap next year when we get a real HC and QB to get him the ball.
    • Every win comes from a non-sustainable source.  As CRA mentioned, Penix absolutely imploding against ATL, and then today, defense finally clicked and looked the best they’ve looked in a long time (and still have up 24 points lol) and Rico ran for 200+ yards.  We’re not going to get that every week, especially against good teams, which neither Miami or ATL are.  Both MIA and ATL are bad teams and Bryce still couldn’t get it together.  The defense (and team) had to overcome 14 points because of his turnovers again.  That was not even an average QB performance.  We are winning in spite of him.
