This being based strictly from on field capabilities.

I’d like to go ahead and nominate Dan Henning, O.C 02-07.

As for players, I’m going with Matt Willig.

You need to quality this question.

People are picking multi-year vets as their answer.

The worst Panther player of all time is actually someone who was probably on the roster for a day one Training Camp.

Eric Shelton definitely deserves to be in the conversation. He was drafted in the 2nd round and was meant to be the replacement of Stephen Davis. First year he immediately gets injured, misses the whole season. 2nd year he rushed for TWENTY THREE YARDS for the whole year. Cut the next year, never played again. And that's the story of Eric Shelton.

I agree especially based upon where he was drafted, a lot of people won't even remember him

Honorable mention for me is Corvey Irvin. I had a friend of mine who is a big G.A fan who said he shouldn't even be in the league, let alone be drafted in the 3rd round......he was right

For worst coach I would have to break with popular opinion and go with basically any of our special teams coaches from the Rivera era. Who was the guy it seemed like we took forever to finally fire? Our special teams was just comically awful. For worst player the easy answer is Clausen but the man guided us to a top overall pick. He was good for something. Worst player is a toss up between Eric Shelton or Sione Fua.

    • Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game
    • I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
    • Certainly not going to miss his constant whiffs on sacks and tackles.
