YOU'RE ALLOWED TO BRING BACK TWO PANTHERS IN THEIR PRIME TO THIS YEARS TEAM... WHO AND WHY?

Cam is the obvious answer, as his 2015 season was the best season ever by a panther. His 2015 season had him as the best player in the NFL.

The second pick is where it gets a bit tricky and hard for me. Gross would help in solidifying the line, but Luke might be the best linebacker to have ever played in this game. For me, solidifying the line is most important, so I’d give Gross the slight edge and go with him. Cam and Gross

I think this conversation gets more interesting if we exclude Cam, tbh.  Or we assume QB is already Cam, haha.  In that case, Luke seems like the next best choice... but imagine if we have the opportunity to give Prime Cam Prime Gross AND Prime Kalil ?  I feel like we would just walk all over EVERYONE, lol.

I was as well and I watched Jake play long before Cam.

Jake was a career 59% completion guy, Cam was at 60% its a wash, Jake had zero in the rushing department.

Its cool you like Jake because reasons, but the reasons are not because he was better than Cam in his prime at anything.

Jake's 2003 QB rating when behind under 4 and under 2 minutes was higher than Cams in 2015.

Cam had a bad Superbowl performance Jake had an incredible one.

You can have Cam I'll take Jake.

Don't worry, we would. So would basically everyone else in the NFL given those two scenarios.

if just 2 its Luke and Cam. Forget positional needs. Cam was not really down by 4 in 2015 so save Jake's stat...Cam also never had 5 turnovers in the NFC vhampionship game so Cam > cajun bowl cut and I love Jake. My original sign up name was Jambalayah! in honor of Jake's signing but Cam and Jake are not in the same dimension.

    • Kon is a damn stud but it’s not any individual player’s team. All of the “big 3” are incredibly and equally important IMO. And LaMelo makes Kon way better (look at his shooting splits with LaMelo on the floor vs without. Also Moose and even Miles are important cogs. Honestly think we’re 1 piece away from being legit top contenders if the young guys continue to develop the next year or two. I trust this FO to be patient to find that piece within the next 2-3 years and not force anything. Plenty of time and even without adding anyone we have the pieces in place overall already to compete with any team.
    • We lost 2 very close and winnable games against top teams in the league while missing 3 critical players despite 2 of our top 3 players shooting unusually terribly. Still split the 4 games that Moose and Miles were suspended, winning the most important one vs the Hawks. This ain’t yo mama’s Hornets man. Hopefully Coby can go soon but even if not Moose and Miles are huge additions for our starting lineup and bench rotations. Schedule is pretty tough after these next 4 but I think we’ll take care of business the next 4 to get to .500 then finish slightly above .500 after that to get a 7 or 8 seed. Keep it rolling boys. Also Kon is having an insanely historic rookie season as a shooter. Like truly can’t believe my eyes watching this kid level of historic. Man what a fuging home run of a draft pick and exactly what this team needed to take that next step forward. He’s gonna shatter the rookie 3 point and franchise 3 point records. Has a real chance to be the 2nd best 3 point shooter ever or dare I say even get to Curry’s level (as a pure shooter, Curry obviously has way more to his game that has made him a GOAT).
    • I hear you but yeah like you say, above average. His numbers were good. You’d think it would be a no brainer. Anyhow… I guess the new staff is also fine with him walking?    I hope if we sign him there isn’t some secret issue of his that led to him not being valued.
