Several NFL owners, including David Tepper, have matched the NFL Foundation’s $1 million donation for relief efforts in New Orleans in the wake of Hurricane Ida.

Too bad this isn't Brees's last season. That would be a guaranteed super bowl for them. 

Glad the NFL is helping out though. I spent a lot of time with the good people of the lower 9th ward in New Orleans gutting houses after Katrina. It was heart breaking

So because Tepper has the means to contribute financially in a SIGNIFICANT manner, it should be discounted because he's a billionaire?

Micheal was the most powerful hurricane in history and 4 years later there are still areas of the panhandle that are destroyed. 

Seems like everyone holds hands and sings kumbaya when new Orleans gets hit but we were forgotten in a week. 

One of our towns, Mexico Beach was entirely destroyed. There was nothing left except for concrete slabs where homes used to be.

He donated to New Orleans because it’s an NFL city and part of the NFL brotherhood. He isn’t donating a million bucks every time a natural disaster hits somewhere.
