Two games in…. Is this a playoff team?

I say yes ‘but’

1) have to spread the ball, self reliance on CMC and should be get injured, season’s  done

2) special teams has to improve. There’s going to be a couple games where it comes down to a FG to win, I don’t think we can win that yet

 3) o line isn’t anything to write home about but losing linemen on an already porous line would spell a nightmare

 4) both games, never trailed. Does this team have ‘grit’. With Cam and Jake, I always felt we can come back, not sure Darnold has that fire in his belly

 10-7…. wildcard

We beat the worst team in the NFL and a bad and depleted Saints team that was missing quite a few very important starters.

Let's get through the first half of the season before speculating on playoffs. Because the Saints were thinking Superbowl just last week.

Sam has played well, but he has played against two bad teams that didn't apply any pressure to him whatsoever. Lets see what he does when he is pressured against a good defense. He made a few bad throws the few times he was pressured against the Saints.

    • Not sure he is in the top ten but: His 9.99 RAS score, second among 1,512 tackles since 1987, isn't a gimmick. You see every bit of that explosiveness translate to the field when he kicks and slides in pass sets. NFLDraftBuzz
    • Ya win some, ya lose some. Legette looks to be a loss.  The time for disappointment has passed. I expect nothing, so if I get something I will be surprised.
    • I got called into HR one time, as they were doing their research after a verbal altercation that I had with another employee. He was the one that started the sh¡t and had the nerve to go to HR. Well, I did the meeting, & the manager gave me her card & said if there was anything else I wanted to say regarding the investigation, to contact her. I thought about it later that day, so I used our company email and told her that I was willing to take a lie detector test, and that if he and his two friends were willing to do the same, once it was determined that they were lying and that I was telling the truth, then they would have to be punished accordingly. Funny thing is, after that, I never heard from her again, or anything about the investigation. It's like it never happened.  Anyway, yeah 89 isn't doing himself any favors with this one. He wants to fight with a guy old enough to be his dad because of Rivera's lack of communication, even if there was some perceived hypocrisy going on. That's just not a good look.
