"Did you get to 3-0?"

"Yes"

"What did it cost?"

"Everything."

Fugging everything!! we're week three out of a 17 game schedule... not little injuries, but HUGE KEY injuries! This is part of the reason the NFL sucks anymore, just having hope. You cannot truly have hope in your team anymore, they could have the most talent on paper compared to every team in the league, but where does that get you when NO ONE can stay healthy in this BS league... YES, injuries have always happened in the NFL, I get it. It's just funny how for years when I was a Dallas Cowboys fan (forgive me), before Carolina got a franchise, the key players on the team that won multiple super bowls stayed on the field. Todays game is nothing but a huge gamble on how many of your playmakers stay healthy. Three games in and all of a sudden... how do we look now? Yes... We're 3-0, I get it... but dammnit, we need some luck!

Denver also lost their stud pass rusher Chubb to injury recently. We’ve had rotten luck for sure but it’s not unique to us.

Yeah, I get that... it will always impact the game. We NEED CMC for a WHOLE season.... we NEED Horn to develop into the playmaker we know he looks like. I swear, we just need the Ju Ju Gods to smile upon this team during this long ass season. I hate to be negative, we're 3-0 and I love this team, but we're young and need things to go our way. I'm knee jerking for sure... but it breaks my heart to see Horn go down week 3, totally breaks my heart. I wanted to see him with a pick 6 this game.

This is domination @hepcat you were wrong about losing but these injury's sour this a lot.

The 2nd half the offense stepped up without CMC. Darnold made some nice plays and  Hubbard and Freeman kept the running game moving. The offensive line is still an issue but at least there were no more injuries.

You really are one to talk, or should I go back and quote all of the whiny baby 🍼 posts you made about how we were gonna lose again.

I made 5 posts in the gameday thread and not one of them said we were going to lose the game. You need to sleep it off dude you're unhinged.

    • Ravens mixing it up with a random Mark Andrew tush push last year isn't a similar situation.  Lamar has run QB sneaks his entire career.  And often instead of a traditional sneak will even employ a 4th and 1 direct snap to Lamar simply because of how athletic he is (which even Cam did a lot of) and let him pick his own holes.
    • height being an issue doesn't just mean batted balls.  You could argue Bryce minimizes batted balls by adopting other poor habits such as his jump passing and leaving the pocket.   As I said, there are plays you can point to where he clearly was blind to parts of the field/players....which kills plays and opportunity. Which actually means some of the shorter/hot throws when things break down are where his vision gets blocked (and he had below average production all around the line of scrimmage).   has he figured it out? I mean, he improved off a trainwreck start.  But Bryce Young since arriving in the league (even while figuring it out)......doesn't generate much offensive production vs his peers.  I just think his ceiling is low.   And that's not in the grand scheme what you want in the NFL.  I think he can develop into a serviceable QB, that will largely always been a middle of the pack or low end starter.
    • People make a lot of noise about his footwork and I think it is overblown. Whether he takes 3 steps backwards or 5 small steps doesn't matter as long as he ends up at the right depth and is in sync with  the receiver regarding timing. If he does that consistently who cares as long as he has a firm stable base as he delivers the ball. Which he does need to work on. However even that is somewhat overblown given that often QBs have to throw off balance or from different arm angles to fit the ball around defenders. He is considered very accurate so apparently it isn't hurting him that much.
