I'm a little concerned about te depth bc I mean let's be honest Ian Thomas. But I'm definitely happy about getting another young corner on a rookie contract.

We didn't even use TE last year. Now we have Tremble and Ian VS whoever & Ian last year...I'm not sure why ppl act like we are the 2010 Patriots with Gronk & Hernandez. If anything, that is going to help utilize Robby a little more.

On the other hand, we never had this much talent at CB, which is arguably the most important position on defense. THIS IS HUGE!

Holy crap.

Did Henderson just have a terrible start to year? Why would the Jags do this besides total rebuild? But wouldn't they want to keep their Top 10 pick from a year ago?

There was talk of Henderson and the Jags wanting to part ways prior to the season starting.

Not a performance thing. Apparently an Urban Meyer thing.

Talent isn't the issue.  Him and the front office and coaching staff had a falling out, and neither side wanted to work with each other anymore.

That is absolutely something that should worry us as Panthers fans, but at the same time we also have no reason not to trust Rhule and Fitt.  I trust Rhule to get a player's head on straight.  By all accounts the team loves the guy.

If it doesn’t bother Fitt and Rhule, it shouldn’t bother us. They know what they are doing.

I think by all reports and accounts that Rhule is the anti-Urban Meyer.

Been reading Jags forums. Most seem to think CJ was lacking in the motivational department or just straight up didn't want to be in Jacksonville. He was decent while there seems to be the sentiment.

I think the man just needs to be 3-0 with a change of scenery.

At this point I'd write it off as a toxic environment.  He's following the path of basically every other high value defensive pick in the organizations recent history.  Almost all of them were traded away and were/are stars for their new teams.  We just didn't have to give up a 1st to get this guy, which is fantastic.

I'm confused by the lack of love for this trade so far. This is a straight up robbery. We traded a marginal journeyman out of a crowded skill position group and a third rounder for a top-ten talent who's only on the trade block because he doesn't get along with the most obviously unqualified NFL coach in recent memory. And we got a pick back! It's a massive win, this thread should just be gif reactions and pie

Oh I'm pumped.  I love Henderson's talent and he fits this defense so, so well.

    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
    • All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.
    • I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
