...its really too bad...hes prolly the only guy that could take that FG record from Prater...

66 yrds to win the game is just mind boggling.  That is completely amazing

The Tucker FG should get much more attention

Ehhhh 1.2 million at 25. Maybe a littler more. I wouldn’t say that unless he invests extremely well.

But he could sock it all away and earn on it without touching it, have a normal job with average salary and live normally, then retire very comfortably at 50-55…which is not bad at all.

Could be that’s what you meant.

Almost 3 mil

I think they just updated it...

...looks to be under $1.5M.

Take out taxes, fees he may owe an agent, etc...will be lucky if he has $900k in the bank.

Not bad for 35 games and 73 attempts but he's gonna have to find work at some point -- maybe he gets another NFL shot.

Looks like he did OK at Houston wonder why they cut ties so quickly?

Probably should go work on his game in the lesser leagues to get the kinks out. Will get more opportunities since he has the leg talent just needs to work on consistency/mental aspects.

no hes damaged goods

no amount of practice can fix his mental fugs.  once he misses one, hes fuged

Must be very stressfull to be a successful kicker with that kind of pressure. The whole game or season may come down to one kick. Forget the word...how about stomach in knots.

Part of being an NFL kicker is being able to have the ability to make those kicks consistently. If you can't, you just aren't an NFL kicker.

As a few of us consistently said, including a fan of his college team, he was never an NFL kicker.

There are a number of bad nfl kickers.

Only a handful of good NFL kicker and then the  rest of the field.

If Zane misses a kick this week maybe we sign him back.  lol

I know you’re probably kidding but it’s not the worst idea. We can’t find kickers that can consistently make extra points and that includes Slye. The difference between Joey and all the other crap kickers we’ve brought in is he helps us on kickoffs.

    • I think Indiana will win it all but Miami should give them a much better fight than Oregon did.
    • When I tell people I was at that game, they usually say oh that’s so cool you had the experience. I call it soul crushing. Why? The weeks and months leading up to it were great, the team was fun to watch every week…some weeks the offense was unstoppable and carried the team (saints and giants road games), other times the defense carried the load (jaguars, tampa). Lots of back and forth games against good teams (Seattle and Indy). Good young players on the team, but the veteran leadership was incredible…from Cam, Olsen, Kalil and J Stew to Luke, TD, Norman, Tillman, Jared Allen, CJ. Role players like Fozzy Whitaker, Cotchery (he caught that MFer), Philly brown, Kyle love, AJ Klein, and so on.  The Friday before the nfc championship my wife and I after a few drinks said let’s see what prices look like for flights/accommodations and we got to talking about how much prices would increase if we waited until we found out if we would be in the big game. We said screw it, we are only out $200 if we have to cancel.  Of course we come out and just pulverized the cardinals in front of the most raucous crowd by far we’ve ever had. We had no idea what we would do for game tickets and then found out a neighbor who worked for the team could get us 2 for face value (each employee got two of their own for free, something cool that JR did).  But then the NFL mafia decided that the storyline of manning going out on top like Elway would give them more goodwill than a non traditional QB who didn’t connect with their target demo and the rest is history. I never have and never will watch that game again. I am just hoping I can see them win one in the 2nd half of my life.
