If he's done, then the season is done unless Brady all of a sudden learns how to properly orchestrate an offense, Sam all of a sudden starts throwing to open receivers, and Chuba starts catching passes.

Just gonna conveniently leave out the O line and put it on Sam there?

Probably what we're looking at. I bet CMC comes back in a few weeks for a game or two though.

Honestly, I've already accepted that CMC being hurt is the norm from here on out.

Not yet, but that certainly is a possibility.

Typically running backs don't get more healthy as their career progresses.

At this rate we probably won’t see him until after the bye week. He should be 100% with another 6 weeks rest, right?

Only reason I can see as to why they didn’t IR him is so they can make teams have to guess with their gameplan if he’s going to play. That’s amateur hour. With all our other injuries the extra roster spot would be mighty useful.

There have been many parting gifts left by Hurney on both of his departures....this is yet another.

This is just misguided, GMs can't predict injuries. Dont care how bad or good they are. Cmc had no injury history prior to getting that contract and you werent gonna be able to pay the best RB in the league peanuts.

Joe Brady can’t successfully and consistently scheme around 4 horrible offensive line paired with an average QB.  No OC can.

and all of that with his entire time as OC with the highest paid and best player in CMC on the shelf almost every week.

we don’t have a Joe Brady problem.

Rbs are notorious for breaking down after they sign second contracts. They just take too many hits. We should’ve never given him that contract so soon. He’d be playing under his 5th year option right now.

He’s taking a very Cam’esque route in his career. Injuries piling up after a mega payday

Cam signed his contract the off-season before he took us to the super bowl.

    • That’s not a bad idea at all. I was really liking the whole cali-style carne asada. We might do that next week instead of enchiladas for the rams. Was planning on: Saints-Gumbo Tampa-Cuban Sandwiches Seattle- Salmon Stew Tampa- Seafood Boil
    • I agree, honestly you can not trade a player that has Balls talent. Just sitting in street clothes FOR years, it doesn't matter if you are averaging 50points on 88% with 18 rebs, 15 asst, 4 stls if you never can play. These are the worst type of players, teasers. Its HIS JOB to get his body in NBA shape and he has proven that he can not. Thus you break the rule about trading top shelf talent. Hell NBA need to have NFL contracts where the full sum isn't guaranteed, you bet your ass if his money was tied to his playing on the court he'd somehow figure out how to stay healthy.   Plus Im a old head, I member when Seth Curry in his 17(Jesus..) year career had ankle problems and guess what, he solved the issues and got all the money, championships, and fame. Ball doesn't have the same drive to figure out his body, he'd rather drive his car on kids feet while rushing home to drive his go-cart on the roof of his condo after missing his 42nd game of the season.....
