Does anyone have any faith we beat the Giants?

At this point it’s clear the wheels are coming off for this team. The cracks were apparent from early in the season, but they were masked by elite play from CMC on offense, and by playing some bad opponents on defense.

The inexperience of the coaching staff is becoming more obvious every week. Injuries are taking their toll as well.

All that said, the Panthers probably aren’t as bad as we think they are, but the season might be over before we see them prove it.

The Panthers should come out and demolish the lowly and injury decimated Giants next week. It might be enough to get the team back on track and regain some confidence. A loss, and well, I don’t see them winning another game this season.

What a mess this season is shaping up to be. Yet another miserable Panthers season.

Even if the game was at BOA it would be like a road game anyway.  I was at the game in 2018 with the Gano 63 yarder and it was 50/50 at best.  They were louder than the home fans and talking poo the entire time too.

This is pretty much the norm except for a few teams. It’s gotten worse since Cam left.

Nope. With the offense regressing as much as it has over the past few weeks I don’t think we’d beat the Jets, Saints, or Texans in a rematch currently.

We are legit playing like one of the worst teams in the league outside of a few flash plays from the defense.

    • My dislike of Bryce comes not from him but from the Truthers who continue to think he can become something he never will.  3 years in and he still needs MORE time? Nah, by year three you should not still have questions whether you will be the long term starter.
    • Exactly. This has decimated the fanbase as well. There’s wayyyy less excitement even for a year where we have “improved”
    • It's about his playing style. I pointed all this put leading up to the draft. He'd usually take the snap from shotgun at Bama and immediately drop back another 5+ yards after that and then just kinda freewheel standing square to the LOS surveying the field. That can't world at the NFL for several reasons. 1) you can't create a picket that deep at the NFL level. NFL edge rushers are too good. 2) Standing square to the LOS like Bryce did now once you see where you want to throw, you have to flip your hips to get in position to deliver the throw. That means both your receiver needs to be wide open and you need ample protection. Not happening in the NFL. 3) On all of his deep throws he needed to be able to step up and through the throw to generate power. That rarely happens in the NFL. It happened recently against Atlanta and he played great but that type if time and room to operate just rarely happens on Sundays. Bryce was IMO always a prototypical great college player who just doesn't translate to the NFL from a talent and stylistic perspective. I don't know how he fooled football people into thinking otherwise.
