Some of us aren't complaining about mediocrity and don't want to pay the price for Watson or deal with his baggage. This team has seen what happens with a superstar QB and a meh team around him. Three winning seasons. It just doesn't work.

Build the OL and improve the other weak areas of the team. Then go all in on a QB when they think they're truly ready to make a Super Bowl run.

Can't really say that about the Rams. They currently have 99.4% attendance, and average the 8th highest tickets sold in the NFL this year.

They still have that new car smell and are winning, so of course people are showing up just as they did in the past. Once the new has worn off and the team isn't doing as good, the LA crowd will abandon them in droves just as they have previous teams.

Much easier said than done. There’s a lot of things this franchise needs to fix. Seems like there is a new problem every season.

Hell I’d trade for him with this plan:

Work with him and his lawyers to settle his cases. 10 million dollar fund for the victims to just make all of it go away. 
 

Immediately suspend him for 10 games aka the remainder of the season. And put out a joint statement that he will spend the remainder of the season undergoing counseling and sensitivity training. Would have him go on the Ray Rice apology tour. 
 

Deal with all of that this season because we’re going to lose anyway. Then next year you go into the season with a young franchise QB whose paid his debt for his actions and be ready to play football.

The Chargers are 10th in total average attendance and their percentage is 99.0%.

I think LA supports football (and everything else) just fine.  Or at least just as much as most other NFL fan bases.

Kind of hard to blame San Diego fans. They were essentially the Lions until Marty came in, led them to success, and then fired him and watched it all burn all the way down back to Lions level again for years and years until they moved to LA.

LA has always been Lakers Town and they seem happy to be that, especially since they have the guys on the Lakers that are there now. The two NFL teams there now will be ran out of town just as the past franchises were.

He doesn't want to do that because he feels he is innocent. He has the money to settle these claims. He doesn't want to. Because he think's he is innocent.

Last thing I heard was he was gonna pay out to the accusers but he wanted it to be public and they didn’t. Not sure if that’s true but weird. Usually it’s the other way around.

Fair enough, I'm just confused as to why you wouldn't support a team for letting him play but will continue to support a league that will let him play.
