Our defense should eat Jones alive too, I expect him to have his worst game as a pro so far. If Darnold cant put together at least a solid performance than ill be really disappointed.

This is a very winnable game, make Jones uncomfortable with pressure and get the run game going early to limit Sams throws and it should be a win. 

Things I will be keeping a close eye on:

- Can the O-line build off a solid performance?

- Will the Panthers stay true to their word regarding CMCs touches?

- Can the Defense give Jones a welcome to the NFL moment?

Idk. I am not very scared of this patriots team. With CMC back and the Defense pretty much at full strength, Jones should be terrorized all day and the Offense should be able to make some noise. Its not like itll be CMC the entire time either, theyll have to plan for him and Chuba/Ameer

Ya, it seems like a winnable game on paper, but this team… 

OL’s gotta show up today and CMC better have a snap limit.

Let’s just hope Rhule keeps his word and balances the workload, or at least has Brady run some plays where CMC is not the only back in the game.

      I can always count on yout to put things so delicately lol. I'm still not sold on the fact that Tepper will make them keep him if they don't see him as a long term answer.

      holy poo... this thread inspired me to keep trying to guess passwords to various alts I've created over the years and I finally got in! I pretty much accepted my fate as a lurker for the last several months because I could not remember my password. I didn't realize that new users couldn't join either, that explains things. I have been around for years under several different monikers, through the good and bad. I too always find myself coming back here even with all of the new social media options for Panther fan engagement. It's simply nostalgic.   I do get extremely annoyed with the same 5-10 posters shitting on Bryce and complaining about everything. It's unfortunate that half of them are mods and that nobody new can join because now I pretty much just come on here and see Bryce / Panther slander. There is barely any positivity to be had. We all watch this team and hang on this forum for entertainment purposes only. We have no control or say in anything. I used to be such a crazy ass fan that would argue with strangers about Cam newton on the internet and at games. Now, as a father of 3, a business owner and someone with way gnarlier life problems - I like to watch football and talk about football as an escape. Not to bitch more. I really like the direction of the team and will root anyone in a Panthers jersey. I live down the street from the Rams practice facility, Matthew Stafford is currently coaching his daughters flag football team in the same program I coach my sons. I have two highly ranked Rams staff members sons on my team. The way we beat them and had them on the ropes in the playoffs has me feeling amazing, and you would think we have the next great thing in Bryce with the way they all speak of him. I'm gonna ride that high and be a delusional fan, I hope that huddle can stick around or get fixed and perhaps I will get back to posting more now that I can log in again. I will do my best to not get banned. Keep Pounding!

      Well, if they know Tepper wants to keep Bryce there is an an implied safety net there in case he fails. A possibility that he will be empathetic and •maybe• not fire them.  If they go against that and bring in someone else and that fails they are in a much worse spot.  IMO.  And another factor may be that after all those years of instability and musical chairs pre Bryce there will likely be a feeling of security in knowing what they have.   Kind of like settling just to keep from going through the process all over again.     IOW I think he really needs to fug up bad to lose his job and change our course.
