The 2022 NFL Draft QB class is giving off 2013 vibes

0.00% Chance he is better than Fields or Lance.  Not even in the same league.  Maybe Mac Jones.  But that’s about it.

He is the top guy in a Terrible QB class.  Meaning some QB needy team in the top 5 will reach and grab him before us.

He’s better than both, better passer, more feel for the position, doesn’t need to sit like those two, his offense actually has nfl pass concepts.

I know he’s not a breed prospect than Lawrence……

But he’s better than the majority of last years class. Corral has everything you want in a QB today, and unlike others he actually got better his senior season.

Most of the top QBs in last years class did not play four seasons. Also, Corral 10 games last year, 29 passing touchdowns. 9 games this year, 16 touchdown passes. He’s cut down on his INTs but he’s still meh

His film from last year was literally Sam Darnold 2.0. And this year he has improved his decision making cutting back turnovers.  But to say his Arm talent is better than their is like saying Mac Jones is better than Herbert’s.  Not even close.

He’s going to have to sit next year. This is his first good year in college. Why would you assume he’s ready for to start right away?

Beware the one year wonders. Joe Burrow is an anomaly largely created by a dramatic shift in offensive scheme his final season.

Corral is not a one year wonder though, he have averaged over 300 yards a game and 3 TD in 2020. He had turnover problems though, but now he has cleaned that up. Only 2 ints in 270 attempts best in the nation.

Wrong already addressed this.

Hes been the most efficient QB in the nation this season. While missing his top 3 WR and battling two sprained ankles. Do you even watch college football????

Corral actually known for his arm strength, he had the strongest arm in his class. Won a HS competition. There’s ton of tape of him throwing 60 yards out there. Lol

    • To me, this seems like they feel they aren't going to be competitive. I can't help but go back to Bryce. Good guy, but he doesn't inspire people to give it their all. He isn't a "leader" that people look to. There is no Smith, Delhomme, Kuechly, Cam, etc. coming in that door.  It has to be Bryce, but biologically speaking, how often is the shortest man in the room going to command the kind of respect that will drive people? It just isn't. That isn't how we are wired. That isn't how any living animal on Earth today is wired.  I just follow the science guys.
    • Vick's issue with Reid was that he couldn't take a hit, and he wouldn't go down. Otherwise he was pretty good much of the time.  Mahomes has a system that works. Mahomes doesn't become Mahomes elsewhere because not everyone can extract 125% of the ability of a specific player like Reid can. Kevin O'Connell is beginning to look like he has that ability as well but I'll need to see how he does with his Redshirt Freshman.  I also wonder how much of their playoff issue last year was related to the offense as a whole and not just Darnold. Fans don't really dive into the "why" things happen, they just see the what and complain about it.
