You wake up in January 2022 and find out Rhule leaves to coach Penn State, how do you feel?

Disappointed.

I expected this to be a 3 year rebuilding project. We are in year 2. I think we can all agree that our defense is pretty good. They’d be even better if they weren’t on the field for so long. The offense is what is holding this team back.

Unfortunately, the loss of our 2022 2nd and 3rd round choices hurt. I’m not a big fan of trading down if you have all of your picks and your needs are on the board. But, if we could flip our 1st round pick for a later pick in round 1 and a 3rd…and come away within 2 starters on the oline… I think that scenario would make us immediately better.

Disappointed.  He doesn't come across as a quitter, so I'd be disappointed if he walked away without fixing the team.  He just doesn't come across to me as someone who would leave a job half finished.

I think the job has gotten worse and it nowhere near half finished lmao!

I'm not sold on Rhule, but I'm not ready to kick him to the curb just yet.  The rest of the season will tell us something about him, that's for sure.

However, I would be kinda sad to see Phil Snow leave.  That dude has really proven me wrong.  He's a good DC.  His defense is keeping us in the games when our offense just can't stop killing us.

Yeah, who doesn't love a regime change every 2 years? I like following the Lions model after all, so I'd be so fuging excited!

Anyone rooting for this is rooting for another decade of mediocrity.

I know right? This is what bad owners do. I haven’t agreed with a lot that’s happened this season. But we are still a mid pack team in spite of a broken QB, pile of twigs for an O-line, and a high school offensive coordinator.

There is a looong way to fall and I don’t think the fan base is ready for it.
