Everyone in house knew about this injury last week.  Sam acknowledged it in the post game and didn’t want to talk about it.

will be a fun watch to see jittery and over talking Rhule explain why he could play Sam vs Patriots but has to shelf him now.

Yeah, Rhule is not the answer. Dude has no clue what he is doing.

Holy poo, Rhule has gone full stupid and we are only halfway through the year.

It's embarrassing, stupid and was completely avoidable. I just don't see how he makes it to year 3. It would be like trotting an injured QB out against a team he plays poorly against after tradingultiple picks for him.....

That would never happen right?

No one knows when this occurred but naturally everyone is gonna say Rhule knew when we have no proof he did.

He held CMC out for as long as needed and didn’t run him into the ground.

It’s the same poo in every single thread. And it’s usually the same poo characters.

This is right up there with Ron Rivera not standing up for defensives targeting Cam. He should have gotten fined in the pressers and cussed out the refs while watching the replays on the big screen.

I do not want to hear the lies about 2nd quarter, he finished the game! Rhule you let the whole team down with how you handled Sam during this week. Made him play the team that has his number after shielding him all pre-season? He better come out in clown make-up for his presser, fuging joke....

    • Jake in his prime was a gutsy QB. But just like with even someone like Cam. Father time is undefeated. It's very unfortunate we have a guy who is only 24 years old that has an equivalent arm to that. Absolutely blows my mind that our brain trust lacked the basic common sense to value arm talent when making a massive trade with ramifications for years to come. Unforgivable incompetence.
    • Jake, to me, will always hold a special place in my heart.  I really feel like for his era, he deserved way more love than he got, and should’ve had more than his one Pro Bowl.  He was a gamer with an underrated rocket arm. but let me tell you, after his Tommy John surgery, when he came back, I can’t remember who it was against, but it think it was a division game, he threw a ball that was supposed to be a throw away, as I think he was under pressure, and that poo floated forever and died right at the boundary where a defender ran over and picked it off.  One of the worst throws I ever saw.  His arm just wasn’t the same after the injury and surgery.  All that to say, that’s what almost every Bryce throw to the sidelines looks like to me.
    • And again, when watching him in college he had one distinct trait that I feel makes a franchise QB - on those plays when everything breaks down around him, he creates one on his own.  He doesn’t rely on or need everyone else.  That play last night on the final drive where he was getting sacked and threw it to Diggs before his knee hit the ground?  He does similar things all the time.  Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, etc., they all do it.  It’s what made Cam so special. but we picked a guy that’s the opposite of that.  He desperately needs someone else to make a play for him because he can’t.  Even that play yesterday on 4th down to Horn.  That wasn’t a great pass.  The defender was late and came down to make a play in the ball and Bryce threw it high and outside where Horn had to leave his feet and really use strong hands to catch it.  We relied on a 5’9” rookie playing in his first pro game to make THAT catch at THAT time bc of the early turnovers and a not great throw.  Crazy.
