Are we a playoff team with Cam?

First of all the fan in me would love to see Cam run out on the field, but the realist in me thinks Cam isn't the answer at this point in time.

Just like Teddy wasn't the answer.  Just like Sam wasn't the answer.

Take your losses and draft a QB this year or next.  We keep trying to win now and so far it has just came back to bite us.

Is this a save a job type of paly.

We are 4-5 but as of now we are still in the playoff picture, next four games are Arizona, Washington, Dolphins, and Falcons.  With Cam can we go 3-1?  At this point we are 7-6 and still in the playoff picture?

or

Are we just going to win a few more meaningless games and cost ourselves a QB in the draft?

We could’ve stacked wins with him at the beginning of the season with the easier part of our schedule to get into the playoffs. It’s now a tall order with the hardest part of our schedule coming up. If cam had started the whole year we’d have been 7-2, 8-1.

also if they’re planning on starting him Sunday that’s unfair. He hasn’t played all season, isn’t in football shape and new offense. 3 days from signing to start against the #4 defense in the league. They need to give him a week.

    • Yeah, I hope you are right too. Would love nothing more than to be wrong. I think if you look at the past decade or so of drafting and free agency, the Texans have done significantly better. Doesn't mean they are significantly better as a franchise necessarily but they are definitely way ahead of where we are in 2024.
    • The Necas trade is going to be interesting because of how much the Canes want back in a trade for him.
