Where does the Cam "I'm back" moment rank in all time history?

I played college football and was in the military.

Pretty hard to do that if I cares about people being unapologetic.

Why do you people constantly think anything other than undying worship to the point of being irrational equals racism?

Are all these people also racist for criticizing Shaq during his first few years? How about those that criticized Biakabatuka? Sean Gilbert? Daley?

It makes no sense.

PJ caught hell but nobody was racist then, strange ain't it.

Yeah you're not bothered at all - just had to offer an "unbiased opinion".  Same guy who one week ago today said we need Cam about as much as we need a case of gonorrhea. Let your tears flow.

Years ago he also said Cam wasn’t a leader of men. I didn’t forget.

Anyways, it’s rank will be determined how this season plays out. It was a cool moment, but I’m not putting it up the leaderboard yet

It was an incredible moment.  As far as all time history?  Meh, I'm not sure there.

We've had some incredible plays over the past few decades of the team.

BUT!  If the Panthers turn their season around and make the playoffs - then this moment is transformational for team for sure.  It really needs to be followed up with more wins.

A fantastic moment, I was jumping up and down and making a deal in my house.  My dogs were quiet worried.  My wife just smiled that sad smile of "I said yes to this?"  I will remember that moment for a while. I was so pumped up!

But for that to really be a franchise altering moment, then this team needs to win, win, and win some more.  If Cam is able to elevate this team, and we truly become contenders; then this is going to be a turning point moment for sure.

I hope it is!

How many of you stood up and cried tears of sweet joy, having memories of that past decade of your life come flooding back? Birth of children, finishing college, playing drinking games on Sundays?

Just me...okay..

It reminded me how pissed I was the night we drafted Cam and the best tasting crow I ever ate watching him play the Cardinals week 1 in his rookie season.

I jumped out of my seat, and scared my daughter half to death. I picked her up, and all she’s asking is “what happened, daddy..what happened?”

It was a magical moment. Him screaming “I’m back” just pumped me up even more. I wish I could be in Charlotte next weekend for the game

Ya know, for a guy who acts like he's so smart, ya should be able to recognize a joke when ya see one. Hence what I said last week was very tongue in cheek.

Instead, you pick up a pitch  fork and go right back to trying to divide a fan base over our QB. Seems pretty stupid or mentally retarded to me.

You just can't help yourself....backtracking isn't enough, you've got to start throwing the R word around. Take a fuging hike

    • This is gonna be longest six weeks ever
    • This 1000%.  Hey who wants to sign with the guy that couldn't even get his client the guaranteed contract of a 3rd round pick?  Lmao
    • I don't think it's any weird or unique clause, it's the offset language, same thing so many contract disputes are over. It just means that including it, if a player is cut and then signed by another team, the original team would be able to subtract how much they're getting paid by the new team from what they still owe him on their guaranteed money. For example, it's why Russell Wilson signed for the minimum last year with the Steelers as that was included in his Denver contract.  So if he signed with the Steelers for $1 million, he'd get $1 million less from the Broncos, if it was $2 million, he'd get $2 million less, basically he couldn't make any more money than he was already going to make, so you sign for the minimum to not take unnecessary cap room from your new team while giving extra cap room to your old one. The problem with trying to include it in rookie deals is that a team trying to include it, it says they think they don't really believe the player will make it 4 years with the team before they cut them.  And this usually comes up with one or two rookies in most seasons, the difference is it's usually handled much more quietly and not as public and ugly as this one. The other difference is that it's happening with the Bengals, which I believe I saw are one of the few (or only?) team that doesn't have protections for rookies in rookie and mini camps to be able to participate even if they haven't signed their contract yet.  The other teams have injury protections that allow them to still play, but the Bengals do not, which is also why this one is so public and ugly, as most the time this happens, the rookie is still participating in the rookie and subsequent mini camps, giving them more time to get the contract done before training camp when they'd then hold out.
