Darnold has run well in prior games, but he isn't running well at all today. Heck, he slid behind the line of scrimmage on one scramble. Statistically, that's a sack

All in all, I'd much rather have gone play action. But if you were determined to run it, you've gotta use Newton.

Well maybe he's thinking about the last time he "ran well" against Atlanta...We saw what happened there.

At this point in his career Darnold is much faster than Cam.   Does that matter on a sneak?  Not really at all.  Cam is bigger so would it have been a better choice?   Definitely.   How many people have complained about Cam coming in just for a snap to be a battering ram though?

Panther fans can't see it.

The players can't see it.

The score keeper can't see it.

The game officials can't see it.

The win column can't see it.

The record books can't see it.

Somehow Dave Tepper thinks he sees it, because Matt "Svengali" Rhule says to trust him "It's Happening".

Who knew Dave Tepper was so gullible when it came to football coaches and GMs?

Superman with his Xray vision can't see it.

This statement is so fu<king stupid. It's basically a roadmap as to why the Panthers won't succeed under Rhule. He doesn't even know how to evaluate his own fu<king players and put the player with the historical record for rushing TDs into the game to run the ball into the fu<king end zone. This is a new level of overthinking to the point of idiocy (if he's thinking at all).

    • It's baffling there are still people who log in here and want to blame everything on the defense. We are 10th in offensive spending and 28th in defensive spending according to Spotrac. At this point either you work for the Tepper’s or you're related to Young.
    • okay I buried the lead with this at the end but it needs to be up front, then we have the rebuttal I started out with.    A designated Hail Mary QB, and designated QB sneaker… that is some unheard of stuff. I would be willing to bet a large sum (relatively) that only one player in the history of the league has required those accommodations. Cool. I think my point is he did not ruin Luck, Luck vouched for him by hiring him at Stanford. And he did not negatively impact Young. The NFL negatively impacted him because he doesn’t have an NFL game. It was just… Bryce, meet reality. This is the NFL not Alabama. He is still trying to get his game up to snuff and we are in year three. Also the resources used on him after he got to the NFL? We had a bottom 5 worst defense in history basically (17 game stats vs the old 16 game stats make it look worse), because he needed so much help. .
    • Just asked chatgpt... in order for us to obtain ar least 9 wins each of the last 3 seasons the QB performance we needed would be Pat Mahomes or Josh Allen. Nothing less.
