The investment in him has been massive when you look at the support investments along with the assets directly invested in him. Without mentioning that the rest of the team had to adapt to two head coaches in two years. As Parcels said about walking on water, his feet are wet. But I wonder what the bar is for a 250 million dollar deal. It has been a low bar to this point. It is scary. -
Well I haven’t looked but it could be like our WR, lots of rookie deals. I bet the hate that comes back for dissenting over there would be daunting. As far as the Ravens OL, I mean when you have to pay your QB like that what can you do? If I were a QB that wanted to win and stay healthy I’d be willing to ‘get by’ on 35 million a year to keep the OL talent level up.

Mike and Alex from the Observer had a pretty good discussion about Bryce in the most recent Processing Blue podcast they did. I listened to it on the way in this morning. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8s6A012S6vA&t=984s Bryce will give you 5 or so "wow plays" versus 5 or so "WTF plays." There's just a nuance to any discussion of Bryce. There's a lot to be made of his physical limitations and his mental errors. No matter what, Bryce is just so polarizing. Personally - I still think Bryce is going to have to prove it this year. Can he prove to us that he's the franchise? I don't know. He's going to have to play better and elevate the team. We haven't seen that yet. Let's let him develop. It will lead us to a top 10 pick or a more competitive team.
