IF we take a QB at 6, and I'm not totally against it, they will be the wrong QB to take because Rhule will be the one evaluating them.

Hopefully if they are taking a QB Mcadoo is the person doing the evaluation...

It's best not to bank on anyone in the draft to be a savior. Best thing is to trade back, draft QB, OL the rest and then also go after another vet QB. Jimmy G, Carr, Wilson, Cousins, any of the other QBs that are way better than Darnold. Just doing these things will help tremendously, but then you have Rhule that still brings everything down.

I just can’t see Rhule drafting a qb. He needs to win now to save his job, waiting for a rookie to develop is not going t help him. We are either trading or signing a vet. The correct option is, Rhule should be forced to play Stafford all season and secure the first overall pick and get fired. He made this bed, he can sleep in it.

It doesn't matter who you get if Rhule is here, we're going to suck.

And then no matter who we get to replace Rhule, they are going to want their guy and they should get their own guy.

You don't want us to draft a QB in the first round while Rhule is here. It will be a wasted pick long term and they'll turn into the next darnold.

Draft guys that will likely make it from one coaching staff to the next. QB is least likely to be that.

I can’t edit, I meant Darnold not Stafford.

Tepper seeing all these young AFC QB's balling and the guy that reject us in stafford making the Superbowl has got to be gut wrenching for him. We are going to be ringing Houston's phones off the hook like a desperate EX girlfriend trying to get Watson.

    • He does have speed. 21+ top end speed is very fast for a linebacker and his 3 cone drill time is considered excellent, close to elite.
    • This is awesome because you get to see the perspectives of the scouts--get a glimpse behind the curtain. I wonder whose doing this was; I am curious as to why David Tepper allowed it. Maybe it was his wife. Maybe Dan.  At least from my perspective--and probably one shared by other fans--when David Tepper bought the team, he closed everything off too much to the fans, and really didn't give an explanation. Things were obviously done because he (and/or some others wanted to do it). Remember when they used the guise of construction and all that to keep fans from seeing the team during practice? I know there are laws and safety and all that, but Tepper could've made it happen. And, of course, we all know that they essentially fired Jeremy from his independent contractor gig as a photojournalist. I never understood why they'd do that (and the negative reverberations obviously affected Jeremy and ultimately this place--i.e, us fans). The pie was (and is) certainly big enough to throw some scraps to the independents. I realize that you can't necessarily open the floodgates, but a few different perspectives from indy journalists whether in word or photos is a good thing in my mind.  So, it's great to see different perspectives. I will say this however: it is not without risk, as you know there will be some buster who will be calling the scouts out if the players flop. I think we should all keep in mind that the buck stops with the GM. It's nice to have one, however, that is so convicted in his people and process--and ultimately success, that he's willing to give fans access to this type of information. Pass this on to Tepper.
    • I hope he ends up being our best ever at the position. Ryan Kalil left big shoes behind that we haven't quite been able to fill since.
