Itāll be interesting to see how the board falls I completely agree with you on TE for us The safety fromĀ Oregon would be the cherry on top for Everoās defense/scheme.Ā If a OLāmen is there that you love it would be very hard to pass up. This fan base seems to just see Walker as a stop gap but I wouldnāt be so sure. Heās the same age as Ekwonu. Heās had a much more impressive career arc/progression than Icky has. Heās the better pass protector. As far as I see it if Walker has a good year Iād bring him back over Icky. Ekwonu isnāt some elite franchise LT. Playing next to Lewis is going to be great for Walker much like it has been for Icky. We definitely need to get younger/cheaper on the OL though so for this reason alone itās still top of my list come round 1 if board falls this wayĀ Could also use another corner with Mike Jacksonās deal up after this season and needing a nickel but Corey Thornton looked really good in that role in the limited time we got to see him. However heās coming off an achillies injury and you never know with those.Ā Then as mentioned above we do still have a need at WR. As far as āweaponsā go itās kind of a 2 man show with Tmac and Coker and neither is a burner. If Jordan Tyson is there at 19 and we can have a young WR group locked up for cheap thatās a huge advantage cap wiseĀ And donāt forget linebacker. That clip in Devinās Lloyd blueprint they used from Evero saying they need more intelligence there couldāve been left out for Wallaceās sake but itās true. Wallace is lost in coverage. Pair a smart linebacker with Lloyd and thatās a group with Wallace and Cherelus being depthĀ
