the only reason i can think of that the colts would trade for ryan is if they want the texans to get the worst possible return for watson, and the worst offer is by far from the falcons. It's not even possible their offer is competitive with the panthers offer

Yeah there is no way any team takes on 48 million for Matt Ryan...in addition to giving up picks.  Atlanta would have to eat at least half that contract, if not more.  And the other team has all the leverage here anyways, so I don't see any way Atlanta can eat 25M of Ryan's contract, take on 30M for Watson (depending on restructures), plus sign 2-3 weapons for him.

What’s really fuging funny is DW has absolutely torched two teams qb rooms morale, the falcons and the browns, over this. 
 

I could absolutely see Matt Ryan demanding a trade after 4 pm today. Atl forums were talking about.
