I am hearing it could be some time in April and he is meeting with a few English Premier League teams.

Even Premier League teams wouldn't entertain Watson.

See Mason Greenwood and Benjamin Mendy.

Watson is waiting for Atlanta to make a decision. He will be a Falcon if they're able to do something about Matt Ryan's salary.

Colts probably the only viable trade destination.

If Atlanta drops out I think the Panthers have a shot, but it's not a great one.

Tepper put all his eggs in this basket, and he's going to leave with a ton of egg on his face. Is what it is.

So will the other 3 teams who don't get him..

But what you debbie downers refused to realize is..

This whole waiting process the team still improved the roster.. Adding a better IOLMEN SAFETY, we depth and a powerback..

Lmao y’all might want to start listening to the inkisdry guy!

At absolute best, we're a distant third who is only the fallback option if for whatever reasons the cap situations in New Orleans and Atlanta prove to be intractable.

    • Kon is a damn stud but it’s not any individual player’s team. All of the “big 3” are incredibly and equally important IMO. And LaMelo makes Kon way better (look at his shooting splits with LaMelo on the floor vs without. Also Moose and even Miles are important cogs. Honestly think we’re 1 piece away from being legit top contenders if the young guys continue to develop the next year or two. I trust this FO to be patient to find that piece within the next 2-3 years and not force anything. Plenty of time and even without adding anyone we have the pieces in place overall already to compete with any team.
    • We lost 2 very close and winnable games against top teams in the league while missing 3 critical players despite 2 of our top 3 players shooting unusually terribly. Still split the 4 games that Moose and Miles were suspended, winning the most important one vs the Hawks. This ain’t yo mama’s Hornets man. Hopefully Coby can go soon but even if not Moose and Miles are huge additions for our starting lineup and bench rotations. Schedule is pretty tough after these next 4 but I think we’ll take care of business the next 4 to get to .500 then finish slightly above .500 after that to get a 7 or 8 seed. Keep it rolling boys. Also Kon is having an insanely historic rookie season as a shooter. Like truly can’t believe my eyes watching this kid level of historic. Man what a fuging home run of a draft pick and exactly what this team needed to take that next step forward. He’s gonna shatter the rookie 3 point and franchise 3 point records. Has a real chance to be the 2nd best 3 point shooter ever or dare I say even get to Curry’s level (as a pure shooter, Curry obviously has way more to his game that has made him a GOAT).
    • I hear you but yeah like you say, above average. His numbers were good. You’d think it would be a no brainer. Anyhow… I guess the new staff is also fine with him walking?    I hope if we sign him there isn’t some secret issue of his that led to him not being valued.
