Opinions: Panthers will finish 2nd

If they can find a decent QB and keep Rhule locked in the closet, I think they have a shot. Brady I think will sh%t the bed this year and father time will catch up with him or an injury (even a relatively minor one would end it for him). The Falcons will suck just as bad as last year and last place for them. The Saints still have a good team and will compete again.

1st..Saints

2nd...Panthers ( if they can find a decent QB.)

3rd...Buc's

4th...the birds

What u got?

1 - Bucs

2 - Saints/Panthers

3 - Panthers/Saints

4 - Falcons

Brady is back and guys are following him to win a title.

Panthers and Saints split last year, and now that Payton is gone they will take a step back. Allen may be Rhule level bad. Panthers have made a few good moves too.

Falcons have a good HC, but lack in talent and have now pissed off their franchise QB

IMO if we could get Minshew with the current talent on this roster.  We could compete.  If Rhule lets our OC run the offense we could make some noise.

TB ran with a ton of veterans on a "last ride" mentality.  I'm not sure all those aging vets are going to age with Brady.   They'll be tough because Brady is there but the tooth is getting long in TB.

N.O. is going to be a huge question mark.   As much as I hate to say it. Payton was an offensive genius and he's gone.  It is not a forgone conclusion that his replacement is going to be as good as he was regardless of the talent that remains.   Everyone knows Winston is good for 2 or 3 loses a year.

Not ready to say we will finish better than 3rd. They've been making some really good moves but this team still has to gel, this team still needs a QB and O-line help and this team needs to learn a new offensive scheme. So the odds are definitely against them. Also this team still has Rhule as a coach. So far he hasn't coached anything up.

    • Maybe a bit of a homer take but I can't give us a grade lower than A.   Freeling was arguably the best LT prospect in the draft.  His athletic ability is off the chart and at 6'7" that can move.  It was a no brainer pick.   Hunter's key word is Violence. Putting him next to Brown should scare an offensive coordinator. These two give Scourton and Phillips plenty of chances to get one on one opportunities. Brazzell, another tall receiver with sprinter speed.  Our WR room is filled with tall talented WR.  Brazzell is going to give us a WR that can take to roof off the defense.  Basically Jimmy Horn with size. W. Lee III has a nickname of the Blanket. (heard this on the Beleav podcast with J. Stewart)  What a great name.  A great value in the 5th round. Hecht A strong, fast and extremely smart center. Many had him listed as the best center in the draft.  He's most likely a starter sooner than later. Wheatley A good safety in round 5.  Someone who could see playing time.   Kuwatch  I love this pick.  At minimum he will be a key piece on special teams and with some good coaching he'll see some packages where he'll play.  His down piece is he doesn't stay up in the running game.  Good coaching will fix this.  He reminds me a bit of A.J. Klein.   All these picks were great value.  I believe everyone of them were graded higher than the pick we took them.   Dan Morgan is IMO doing a great job turning this team into a good team with great depth.
    • Moton is a class act.
    • Sure, that is possible. That’s what, an extra 55 yards a game on average and 7 more TDs? What if he’s just 15th?  I imagine they would extend him in that situation due to the belief that he’ll keep trending up. maybe a 3 year contract to prove he can be top 10? Sounds like a Tepper plan.
