Id rather have Gilmore at 2/32 than Jackson at 3/35.

I said if Gilmore signed for less than 16/year it would make the Jackson deal hurt. 

As a fan I just hope we made the right choice.

That’s not the type of contract I would’ve liked to see us agree to with Gilmore. Hometown discount or go get your money. That was the play with where we’re at as a franchise. He chose the money and hats off to him.

You are delusional man. He had one bad game against Washington but was very much hurt in the game. He was voted a team captain, can work the slot now or be on the outside based off of matchups, is only 26 years old, played the run much better, and has plenty of room to grow. We paid him market value, it’s not like some massive killer deal that cripples the team. He is also the ONLY cornerback in the room that will be making any money at all, as all of our other corners are on rookie deals. 
 

Jackson is a fast, young player who plays above average the majority of the time and someone who is a ball hawk. He got paid market value because of that.
