Willis has an arm, but does he have Darnold field vision, meaning the lack thereof?  That is his knock on tape..limited progressions and avoids routes to the interior of the field.

He has literally never made a throw with anticipation that I've seen.

On This Just In, one of the draft insiders said it would be a fireable offense to draft Pickett or Willis in the Top 10. Hasselbeck also made mention that the comparison from Pickett is Kirk Cousins, and who is ever sitting around with a 1st round grade on Kirk Cousins. This pretty much wraps up how I feel about Pickett. If you don’t shine during a pro day, you shouldn’t be drafted at all.

According to Gantt's "road show" article, our contingent was even bigger than we knew.

The Panthers had head coach Matt Rhule and general manager Scott Fitterer at Pittsburgh Monday, along with assistant general manager Dan Morgan, vice president of player personnel Pat Stewart, college scouting director Cole Spencer, and area scout Eli Montague. They were joined by offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo and quarterbacks coach Sean Ryan.

Damn 😳

The Giants haven't picked up Jones' 5th year option yet.  Maybe this is a reason?  They have been mocked consistently taking Ekwonu if he's still on the board.  If they take Pickett AND leave Ekwonu alone (if still undrafted)....that is a HUGE win for us, IMO.

My pants would not be able to contain my joy....

This is as done as a done deal could be...before actually being done.  The only way Pickett isn't a Panther is if someone takes him ahead of us, smh

Philly likes Willis and they have the picks to move up...could they be that desperate?  If so, why not give us Mishew and swap first rounders?  Just a thought.  Saw that idea nowhere but in my head.  If they want to trade up to the giants to leapfrog the Panthers, it would take the 16th and 20th (approx--going from memory) picks--so they would still have 2 first rounders after that deal--#5 and #15.   Philly took Pickett to dinner, the way I understand it.

    • Idk man, I think it’s necessary.  There’s people working 9-5s everyday that get told poo about what they aren’t and what they’re not capable of and they’re working for scraps.  These guys are making millions.  People are watching and invested because their team and fandom is a part of their identity and a big source of pride.  When someone like Bryce comes in and is given chance after chance after chance after proving he is not worthy of the position he’s being gifted, and he continues to be the biggest reason above any that we are losing, yeah…  I think it’s fair to call a spade a spade.  Am I saying Bryce the person is trash?  Bryce the person is a piece of poo?  Absolutely not.     I came up in an era, especially in basketball, where if you were fuging up people heckled the poo out of you.  I played in rec leagues as a teen where the fuging parents were calling kids trash and yelling poo like “TURNOVER!!!  TURNOVER!!!”  “CANT DRIBBLE!”  “CANT SHOOT!”  And that’s adults screaming that poo to kids like we were in the fuging Rucker lol.🤣🤣🤣  I went on to play basketball at a collegiate level and with professional players in different settings.  What those experiences as a kid taught me was to see if there is any merit to what people are saying, and if there is, then work my ass off til they can’t say that anymore.  Come back better, tougher, harder.  And I did.  If kids can figure that poo out, an adult calling another adult who is bad at his job while making millions and millions of dollars will be just fine.
    • I have tried to like this team, lord knows I have tried. BY9 is a nice young man, if I had a daughter he can take her to prom, but he ain't QB1 and he's not Cam or Delhomme Chuba is a average RB, he isn't Stephen Davis, he isn't J-Stew McMillan has the makings of a good WR, but he isn't 89/Moose D. Brown is a great player, but if the game was on the line I want Kris Jenkins       I miss this brand of football, even in the bad Jake games the games were entertaining It has been nearly 8 years now of watching numb football
    • I'm not so sure. Something about the whole Frank/Bryce situation seemed off from day 1. Bryce didn't fit Frank's QB mold as well as Stroud, then he basically gives up when Bryce is named starter in preseason but gets virtually no reps in games. Then he looks completely unprepared and Dalton steps in in Seattle, has a decent game under immense pressure, and it's right back to Bryce. All his mechanics are terrible and he's having the worst rookie season ever and Frank doesn't bench him?  You dont have to be a conspiracy theorist to know Bryce wasn't ready to be a day 1 starter. Everything with Bryce, then coaches, and the FO seemed forced.
