Which is why these moves make no sense unless they were going to trade for a big name this offseason.  Why create cap if you aren't gonna use it?

I used to be a cap space nazi, but not anymore. It's all about drafting right and getting a franchise QB

Does this take into account the rollover we would get if we don't spend anymore of the 30 mil that we have available?

If not, then we would be sitting at 27 million.

A Shaq and robby anderson release or restructure would free up 25 mill instantly. There are another 3 or 4 obvious cuts that would free up an additional 15 mill, there is also a Taylor Moton restructure next year and several other players totalling an additional 40 million in cap spce.

Who cares, we can restructure again and again until things are done right. The saints have done it for the better part of a decade and have consistently been in the playoffs. I think you guys are at a point now where any and everything is complained about. Give it a rest and relax until the draft, smh.

Why do we waste our energy on the stuff? Cap flexibility is easy as long as you don’t have a player on your roster eating your 25%+ of your total cap.  See Matt Ryan (falcons this off-season) 
 

these guys know 100x more than any of us… so why sit here and bitch about cap number over a year away when we have no idea what the new cap number will be or how our season / draft plays out.
