We will inevitably fug this up. I suspect if this happens it will be the start of the opinions turning against Fitterer in larger numbers.

if you’re dropping from 6th to middle of the pack it better be for multiple ones, and you never ever pass up your choice of QBs when you have a need at the position.

but there’s too much (erroneous) glorification of how Seattle got by during fitterer’s tenure that I’m inclined to believe he thinks it’s a good approach

seattles been amongst the worst drafting teams in the league

If you have a chance to get one of the top OTs, take them. Unless the trade is incredible, I am taking my franchise LT and calling it a day.

Or an elite DE, for that matter.

I think the thing that most people who love Fitterer so much conveniently forget this is Tepper and Rhule's hand picked guy.

Ya'll remember the decisions these dopes have been making, right?

i hope we aren't initiating the calls. more likely to get it if other teams are initiating them.

unless we have an absolute stud OT slipping down to us, trading back later in the 1st and picking up at least a second is ideal.

i really hope we can pull that off.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
