The only way I would take Mayfield is if the browns give us a couple of 2nd round picks. Otherwise lets just stick with the overpriced shitty qb we already have.

I can understand our position might change if his price gets lowered, but is there any indication he's changed his mind about playing for the Panthers?

If it's his only starting opportunity maybe. If he could back up Tom Brady for a year/fill in during injuries it'd potentially be more beneficial to himself in the long run. Aside from those two options who would want him? Texans? Cards if Murray holds out?

Yeah, its not like teams are beating down the door to sign him. He has few options at the moment. After the draft, there may be less than there are now.
