Barnes' (5'11"/183) calling card is blazing speed. A high school track star, Barnes burned up the Combine with a 4.23 40, the second-fastest time in the history of the event

Let's you know how bad he is in coverage cause with that speed he should have gone in the first 3 rounds if he was good.

Potential good KR/PR

That’s my forever pet peeve.  PR is weird.   You got the ice in your veins or you don’t.

I wish we would actually draft someone that was returner.

it’s the same almost every year predating this staff of trying to see if you can make someone who isn’t a returner into one.  Think special teams ace in important enough for a late round pick.   Just fielding them cleanly has long been an issue here.

Nothing happened with the Switzer visit I guess.

The Panthers finally addressed LT in the first round. Maybe next year they can take a return guy like they did Smith all those years ago.

    • FLA showed everyone it’s not about superstars. they bullied the best line in the NHL into obscurity. they played hard, were in the right positions, and ran over everything that got in their way.
    • That’s really not what you said and when I even expressed doubt as to your intentions with the post you doubled down and remained unclear on whether you were trying to drag Dean Smith for whatever reason. You just got the facts wrong, which if you don’t follow the local college programs like you say then maybe you just were mistaken and thought Smith didn’t win championships or have legit superstars, and that is ok, but you just doubled down when my first post was more corrective than anything. I’m not sure what you expect posting objectively false things like “RBA has a lot of wins with nothing to show for it like Dean Smith” (paraphrasing) on a message board with plenty of UNC fans. I’m not taking it as a personal affront, we can agree to disagree, Dean Smith’s legacy fortunately will not be affected by this conversation. Screw the (Florida) Panthers?
    • Bring in the free agents and trades.  Florida is the best team and unless Tulsky makes it happen, it’s more of the same…which isn’t bad…but it’s time to win a goddamn cup.
