Some niner fans replied and made this seem very plausible as San Fran historically asks for less home games in September due to temps.

I’m sure more stuff will start leaking until release day.

Elton John is September 18th and heaven forbid the logistics for the city because the final round of the presidents cup is in Charlotte on the 25th

Don’t worry that will be the case and one Thursday night game. No prime time games for us.

It's not the QB, it's the offense. I've never seen the Panthers perform well against Shanahan no matter who the coach is.

You mean like when Carolina shut out the Falcons and Shanahan's offense 38-0 in 2015, held his offense to 20 and 13 in '11 and '12 when he was OC in Washington, held his Browns offense to 13 in 2014, and held his 49ers to 3 in 2017, winning all of these games?

I'd be surprised if the 49ers week one game on the east coast got scheduled for 1p.  too many 1p games that first sunday may bump it later.

1 - This is from a Twitter account started in March of '22 with only 2k followers

2 - SF has double-dipped early on the east coast in September in the past and they could be anticipating a Jimmy G vs. former team storyline
