While the trade is confusing. It's been known that the Hornets didn't want both picks. You already have Jones and Bouknight  that still need to be developed. Adding two rookies would have made the Hornets too young. I do wish they could have acquired a young vet with one of the picks though.

We didn’t value the pick but one day we need a GM that makes a big move to make us relevant

Or at least dumped Hayward.

      The lack of discipline has seriously been our downfall the last month. Seems like we just went off course this last month and Lee won't address it. You can't just live and die by the 3 when you can attack the paint and at worst draw a foul

      Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too

      I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries.
