Wether you look like him or not, Robbie is a good speedy, experienced WR that can contribute to the team. There is no reason to flat out cut him and still pay him.

...thats one argument...but I don't see how this dude is going to help us....If I owned a McDonalds...he wouldn't get the job..

That's another one but the fact is, he was the 2nd best WR on the team, stat wise. Unless we'd be replacing him with someone better, it doesn't make sense, stat wise...

I hope Robbie rebounds this year.  He had 519 yards and a 6.5% drop percentage last year with the worst QB in football.

Meanwhile Thomas had a whopping 118 yards and a 13.3% drop rate or Chubba who had 786 total scrimmage yards and 18.9% drop rate.  Chuba was a rookie tho so.

I just think that normally rational Huddlers have become irrational pertaining to Robbie. Perhaps if our team wasn't so bad last year, or if Robbie has had other similar years, I would understand the utter hate, but some of y'all are way over the top in my opinion.

Some of it is reasonable some isn't. The crap about how he talks or his hairstyle is not difficult to see through that's some of the same stuff we read with Newton. But Robbie's contract size and his repetition of being in the news cycle every time you look up is going to become a worn out act in any city with any fanbase. When you add in his tough time statistically last season it's reminiscent of the days like 2010 where we paid guys just for the sake of it and developed a culture of what can only be described as mediocrity. If he wants to change things the first step is to show fans what was missing last year and that begins on the field not on social media.

    • Idk man, I think it’s necessary.  There’s people working 9-5s everyday that get told poo about what they aren’t and what they’re not capable of and they’re working for scraps.  These guys are making millions.  People are watching and invested because their team and fandom is a part of their identity and a big source of pride.  When someone like Bryce comes in and is given chance after chance after chance after proving he is not worthy of the position he’s being gifted, and he continues to be the biggest reason above any that we are losing, yeah…  I think it’s fair to call a spade a spade.  Am I saying Bryce the person is trash?  Bryce the person is a piece of poo?  Absolutely not.     I came up in an era, especially in basketball, where if you were fuging up people heckled the poo out of you.  I played in rec leagues as a teen where the fuging parents were calling kids trash and yelling poo like “TURNOVER!!!  TURNOVER!!!”  “CANT DRIBBLE!”  “CANT SHOOT!”  And that’s adults screaming that poo to kids like we were in the fuging Rucker lol.🤣🤣🤣  I went on to play basketball at a collegiate level and with professional players in different settings.  What those experiences as a kid taught me was to see if there is any merit to what people are saying, and if there is, then work my ass off til they can’t say that anymore.  Come back better, tougher, harder.  And I did.  If kids can figure that poo out, an adult calling another adult who is bad at his job while making millions and millions of dollars will be just fine.
    • I have tried to like this team, lord knows I have tried. BY9 is a nice young man, if I had a daughter he can take her to prom, but he ain't QB1 and he's not Cam or Delhomme Chuba is a average RB, he isn't Stephen Davis, he isn't J-Stew McMillan has the makings of a good WR, but he isn't 89/Moose D. Brown is a great player, but if the game was on the line I want Kris Jenkins       I miss this brand of football, even in the bad Jake games the games were entertaining It has been nearly 8 years now of watching numb football
    • I'm not so sure. Something about the whole Frank/Bryce situation seemed off from day 1. Bryce didn't fit Frank's QB mold as well as Stroud, then he basically gives up when Bryce is named starter in preseason but gets virtually no reps in games. Then he looks completely unprepared and Dalton steps in in Seattle, has a decent game under immense pressure, and it's right back to Bryce. All his mechanics are terrible and he's having the worst rookie season ever and Frank doesn't bench him?  You dont have to be a conspiracy theorist to know Bryce wasn't ready to be a day 1 starter. Everything with Bryce, then coaches, and the FO seemed forced.
