Looking at his PFF grades;

2015; 63.4

2016; 82.1

2017; 69.6

2018; 73.3

2019; 72.3

2020; 51.1

2021; 45.0

Seems to be on a downward trajectory.

Sounds like he's a perfect Matt Rhule guy, Rhule loves trying to prove how great he is coaching guys up.

Man I hope some of the late round DTs of last two years catch on.

Nixon was one of my favorite DT prospects that year. He has some pass rushing capabilities.   Roy and Haskins are big bodied dudes that can hopefully stop the run.  I think we good. If we spend money in free agency is pick up players cut during pre season I hope it's at linebacker.

Im right with you. Deal is they are a little too young and DL always get injuried in TC. Depth just isnt there and all it takes is one injury, then Roy is the best option to start....

Future-wise I expect the 2023 draft to be 90% DL...

Shelton and Dunlap are done. Sorry guys. Decent depth at the very best. Reason we haven't signed them yet is we aren't budging off the league minimum which is smart.

Brother all is needed like 30% of snaps and holding hands. Trades are still in play too......Ive been wondering what the raiders would take for Colin Ferrell...can not be more than 7th/6th.

Plus panthers have some players to trade, glulp OL ERV or Elf for a DL.....

    • I think Indiana will win it all but Miami should give them a much better fight than Oregon did.
    • When I tell people I was at that game, they usually say oh that’s so cool you had the experience. I call it soul crushing. Why? The weeks and months leading up to it were great, the team was fun to watch every week…some weeks the offense was unstoppable and carried the team (saints and giants road games), other times the defense carried the load (jaguars, tampa). Lots of back and forth games against good teams (Seattle and Indy). Good young players on the team, but the veteran leadership was incredible…from Cam, Olsen, Kalil and J Stew to Luke, TD, Norman, Tillman, Jared Allen, CJ. Role players like Fozzy Whitaker, Cotchery (he caught that MFer), Philly brown, Kyle love, AJ Klein, and so on.  The Friday before the nfc championship my wife and I after a few drinks said let’s see what prices look like for flights/accommodations and we got to talking about how much prices would increase if we waited until we found out if we would be in the big game. We said screw it, we are only out $200 if we have to cancel.  Of course we come out and just pulverized the cardinals in front of the most raucous crowd by far we’ve ever had. We had no idea what we would do for game tickets and then found out a neighbor who worked for the team could get us 2 for face value (each employee got two of their own for free, something cool that JR did).  But then the NFL mafia decided that the storyline of manning going out on top like Elway would give them more goodwill than a non traditional QB who didn’t connect with their target demo and the rest is history. I never have and never will watch that game again. I am just hoping I can see them win one in the 2nd half of my life.
