Not so much a specific comment on this particular trade, but I will say this...

If I have to choose between "not enough footballs to go around" and "not enough weapons to threaten", I'm going to take option one every single time.

"Too many weapons" is a problem I am perfectly comfortable having.

Robbie A for Mike G straight up.  Give TMJ a chance to show what he has.

You know the guys in front of him aren't the reason TMJ doesn't see the field, right? We could cut Robbie and DJ and TMJ still wouldn't play...

Not enough receptions to go around, we’ll be a run based offense and probably need TE’s to block more than catch. I am fine sticking with our current options.

I keep hoping we're lying about our run focus.  With Baker and DJ, Higgins and CMC as pass catching targets... I really hope we run something closer to what McAdoo ran in NY.  It will throw off our opponents, preserve CMC and open it up so we can run.

    • That’s not a bad idea at all. I was really liking the whole cali-style carne asada. We might do that next week instead of enchiladas for the rams. Was planning on: Saints-Gumbo Tampa-Cuban Sandwiches Seattle- Salmon Stew Tampa- Seafood Boil
    • I agree, honestly you can not trade a player that has Balls talent. Just sitting in street clothes FOR years, it doesn't matter if you are averaging 50points on 88% with 18 rebs, 15 asst, 4 stls if you never can play. These are the worst type of players, teasers. Its HIS JOB to get his body in NBA shape and he has proven that he can not. Thus you break the rule about trading top shelf talent. Hell NBA need to have NFL contracts where the full sum isn't guaranteed, you bet your ass if his money was tied to his playing on the court he'd somehow figure out how to stay healthy.   Plus Im a old head, I member when Seth Curry in his 17(Jesus..) year career had ankle problems and guess what, he solved the issues and got all the money, championships, and fame. Ball doesn't have the same drive to figure out his body, he'd rather drive his car on kids feet while rushing home to drive his go-cart on the roof of his condo after missing his 42nd game of the season.....
