Yes it’s homerism but bet on the Panthers to win the division

If it's homerism, is it a good bet? No. Even with Bucs offensive line problems, I don't see any way the Panthers beat them. Maybe Baker does what he did in Cleveland and we manage to beat the Bucs like he did the Steelers. But, I doubt it.

Even if we could win the division, there is no guarantee we'd beat them in the playoffs (unrelated to the bet).

I also feel as if people are sleeping hard on the Saints. The lack of respect is earned, for sure, but they have a stout defense and their offense is stacked.

You are right.

It is homerism.

Have you somehow managed to miss Tom Brady's entire career at New England?

The Bucs do not need a credible Oline. The refs will keep opposing defenses off him regardless.

I suspect Brady doesn’t make it through the season. No oline equals years of payback coming.

Lost a great LT in FA.

It's a three team race, even with Rhule. Look around, the other HCs are nothing to brag about either....

I think they may have lost their other LT candidate to injury this weekend as well. And his back-up/competitor for the spot is injured, too.

Under normal circumstances, we'd have a shot, but I'm still not sure we don't have the fourth place coach in the division. Still... even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then.

I mean two re-treads that took another what 10 years to get another HC... Plus the "How" they got it is sus as allllllllllllllll hell. The other is a rookie.

Its rhules magic 3rd year time after the first rough two... The energy and feeling is different this year, many have said so.

I mean if I had to put a numbers on it-

41- yucs

33- iants

25- panthers

1- failcons

    • Also, the fact we are comparing this one to the 10 preseason tells me we are in for another horrible year.
    • Well, they're both in the same league (if you will). During preseason, Fitz went 3/3 & Sauls went 5/6, but of course Sauls was 4/4 last night (including one 50+). Both were Lou Groza Award finalists. I believe Fitz made two 55+ yarders last season, while Sauls led the nation with three. Fitz was 13/13 (💯) while Sauls was 21/24 (87.5). Fitz was a 3rd-Team AP All-American, while Sauls was a PFF All-American.  Career-wise, Fitz was 58/74 (78.4), while Sauls was 52/64 (81.3). I wish that I could see the attempts and knew the depth of yardage. I wish that we could compare practice kicks during their training camps, but we can't. Maybe someone with a PFF/CFF account can give that Basically it's just a matter of belief I guess. Seeing dude knock down four FGs and go perfect during a pressure-filled game for him is damned impressive if you ask me. I don't believe that Fitzgerald could do that.  That being said, I'd have to know more. I will say that it may be worth mentioning that we seem to like PFF this year and Sauls being a PFF All-American may be notable. Now that being said, the Panthers may not be even considering Sauls.
    • Ive said it 1000x times on here.  Our 2025 season will be dictated by the first 4 games.  poo the bed there and lose all confidence and momentum, we win 5 games maybe.  Go 2-2, 3-1 we got a look at 7/8 wins
