Rhule on QB struggles yesterday

Thanks for the fun QB competition when he already won that when you traded for him.

Fug Rhule and his excuses. If he cared about how new Bakler was then he would have run the ball and not passed 3 times to go 3 and out to open the game and setting the pace for a terrible 1st quarter.

Someone ask Rhule if Tepper is happy just for fun at this point.

Well according to Rhule he has been perfect in practice

I'm gonna disagree on that - one of the things that stood out to me from the Pats radio broadcast was them commenting on how poor EVERY snap was. Hardly ever were they right on the money, Baker and Darnold would need to reach, squat, stretch to get the ball... and since we played primarily the ones during practice and Bozeman went down with an ankle injury early day 1... think its pretty obvious who the culprit was.

    • Yes. Big surprise that the man that couldn't even operate a pizza joint even with his name value in Charlotte can't run an NFL front office. Can't get over his 2023 and 2024 draft classes. Taking XL, Brooks, Wallace takes a special skill of incompetence. Can't get over his plan at MLB. Was apart of the Fitterer team and their comedy of errors. We need fresh ideas in the building next year not only at GM, but in our scouting department.
    • Alabama yes. In general the ‘SEC success guarantees NFL success’ fallacy was really tough to overcome too. You still have to look at the player and extrapolate what their college performance would look like against a team full of NFL vets.    I think 62 SEC players were drafted in 2023. But there were over 1600 players rostered on SEC a teams. You might even  face an SEC defense that had no one drafted. Like Vanderbilt had no one taken in 2025.  So you just can’t blindly hold that hey he was great in the SEC he is a lock. Damn, especially with a weak armed little guy with bad throwing mechanics,
    • The question was regarding Bryce only play well when the game doesn't matter and us out of reach. Bryce did not have a great 4th quarter but he had a great 1st half.  Started the game 4 of 5 for 45 yards and a passing TD. He made a lot of great plays in the drive where we scored our 2nd TD which was a short run by Chuba.  He also had a great run to pick up a first when the pocket collapsed around him.  Great pocket awareness and plenty fast and athletic enough. The point being he played very well at a time where the game was not out of reach or garbage time. That was my point and those games listed are the evidence that prove that point.
