It's what they deserve for going 'playoff bound' this early in the season and putting their QB playing way above his averege at risk. Rookie move that looks bad.

Still don't see more than a phone call on cost at best and even that feels lile a reach from a coach that stong in offensive competency.

Also, as I am sure it was discussed on the game thread, but damn did I see Greg Little out there playing competent football last night?  Amazing what coaching can do.

He started off having a decent game but he's still good for the occasional whiff or one of these

      when we drafted Bryce Young that team might have been more talented than the team we currently have ?  that was the whole reasoning behind morgagting  our immediate future to trade up to #1 overall for BY. our front offices & owners felt like hey guess what the time is now to srike while the iron is hot go hire an All Star coaching staff we were only a Qb away from taking that next step ..just saying

      I just dont get the worry over losing a practice squad player that just went undrafted. Everyone just made their selections. The chances of a team wanting to sign him to an active roster after not selecting him is very low.  If that interested they would have taken him late to evaluate in person. As far as I can tell two qbs were signed off another teams practice squad last season and they were both going in to their 5th season.

      I enjoyed reading this thread and the usual banter that follows. The only silver lining I can identify right now is we do actually have a couple of young QB's behind him and we do have a nice roster on both sides of the ball built around the most important position. So if the team overall shows some promise but we still falter largely due to a lack of consistent passing output (again) hopefully the decision makers can be free to make the best decision for the team going forward after the conclusion of this upcoming season.
