Don’t be surprised if Panthers beat Rams Sunday

The Rams are frankly a mess this year. Offensive line terrible 

defense, other than a player or two, just meh this year 

much depends on how the Panthers players respond,  but sometimes just the relief of not hearing about a coaching change could have them doing better 

I believe for the offense as well  they may rally around each other ..not maintainable most likely but maybe for one week with Pj who can complete passes, some to our team, some to the other team..lol…who knows 

it will be interesting 

I also think that a lot if players might not have been as fond of Rhule as the press led is to believe… Starting with DJ

Not sure we win, but we will not lose by 21+ like we did the 49ers. I hate taking a$$ whoopings but the 49ers game may have saved this franchise.

I saw that talked about on nfl network also. Don't buy into how bad the Rams are right now. They are still a 10x better team than the Panthers.

I think it will be closer, but no way with our offense should we beat the Rams. 

Of course, who knows WTH the Panthers will go off and do to fug up a top 2-3 draft pick next year.  PJ certainly is more of a RPO QB than either Baker or Darnold.

Yea, I would be extremely shocked if we win this game. This screams “get right” game all over for the Rams.

Can you say, Silver Lining?  My suspicions were that the NFL was trying to help the LA teams, whenever possible.  NFL wanted to have at least one team in LA.  They felt there was a lot of $ to be had.  They were trying to help the Rams develop a fan base.

now that the Rams have a super bowl win, I don’t think they are getting extra support from the NFL.

I want PJ to be just chucking it up to DJ and Shi deep all day. But they're still operating McAdoo's offense so

Lol maybe. Who knows how this team comes out and the Rams look not good so far. It could also be a get right game for the Rams.

I have no idea and that is so much better than knowing what we would have got for a game just last week.

It will all depend on how we handle Cooper Kupp.  The guy is a beast and can find a way to get open.  If Wilks plays an aggressive defense it might be possible.

I would be surprised.

Some teams have players that are nearly unanimously held back by a dismissed coach.  We have more players than usual who are on this team because of the coach.  For players like Walker, yesterday was the beginning of the end.

It will probably take a little longer than usual for any bounce to happen from Rhule's firing.  I do expect us to be more competitive than we would have been, provided they don't let Kupp run wild.  The defense might be a bit better, but McAdoo is still the OC so I don't expect any noticeable improvement there.

They are in many ways but as I spend a great deal of time on the West Coast whether I want to or not, I wind up hearing about them and watching them more than most 

they are quite beatable this year .. did not say the Panthers are better as from a personnel and coaching perspective, they aren’t 

but we see it all the time in sports, kinda like ‘the candle burns brightest just before it goes out’
