Yesssir.

If it puts a team over the top, it can be worth it.  A team isn't trading for let's say...a Joe Mixon type RB, but CMC? That puts a few teams in reaaaally good position--the Chiefs, Bills, Dolphins, Ravens...all who basically have an RB1 slot wide open for him to jump into.

Hell, maybe he shows out against the LAR and we ship him to LA after XFL upsets them.

Though as mentioned, listening does not equal shopping.  We need some damn good value.  Time to get these RB-needy AFC contenders get into a bidding war.

There’s something going down in LA with the way Akers is acting

We could have done big things with CMC if Rhule had not put us into multi-season QB limbo. RBs, defensive top ten picks, none of that matters if you don't have a franchise QB. You win by passing. Drafting all of those defensive players accomplished nothing. Rhule's brand meant nothing whatsoever. What an idiot. We should accept the Bills 2nd round pick offer.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Carolina Panthers are listening to trade talks for RB Christian McCaffrey and WR Robbie Anderson.

It has been reported throughout the year that teams have aggressively pursued one of the top running backs in the league, only for the Panthers to repeatedly turn them away. It now appears Carolina is at least willing to listen, but McCaffrey's team-friendly contract could prove difficult to move on from. In what might seem like lesser news compared to the marquee running back, the Panthers have said they are willing to listen to trade offers for wide receiver Robbie Anderson, one of the league's premier deep threats over his seven-year NFL career. Teams have just over two weeks remaining to strike a deal before the league's trade deadline of November 1.

Panthers put out word they’re willing to trade Christian McCaffrey

Both articles cited sources as saying it’s not that the Panthers want to trade McCaffrey, it’s just that they’ll listen if other teams offer them something for McCaffrey. This is what teams always say when they put out word that they’re looking to trade a player: They don’t want other teams to give them lowball trade offers, so they claim they’ll only make a trade if they get an offer to their liking.

But make no mistake, when articles like these come out, it’s because the team is hoping the right offer will come along. What it would take for the Panthers to trade McCaffrey is unclear, but the Panthers are hoping some team will offer up the right deal before the November 1 trade deadline.

SO dumb signing him to that insane deal, that NO OTHER RB HAS PASSED since......you see most time when someone resets the market, another follows very soon. In what 3 fuging years no other RB has come close to CMC, look at allllllllllll the RBs signed since = king Henry(full 4 million away), Cook, cubb, karma, and Mixon. Allll them have had better recent games/years.

Now the team is in the shitter and hes the main vein on O.........The bills only want to offer a late 2nd and late rounder??? Are you serious about that? Unless some GM comes with a *Mid*(it's a must) 1st and others(mids maybe a player of two).......ride him out until the cut number is below 10.

Do not give him away.
