What space was that exactly? It's a 20M hit in dead money this season and next...

The money is spent this year, so you can't look at it like that.  The key is we get ~$13M in relief for next year and we are actually back in positive cap territory for next season.

I really don't think Robbie is that bad.  I don't think he's that selfish either.  He just wanted to be utilized and he wants to win, and we were doing neither.  I'm not mad at him at all in hindsight.  He was telling the truth.  I think he'll do fine even as a WR3 there, and we'll prolly never see another complaint or anything.

I would understand that... If he caught the ball more often when he did get it thrown his way....

The cap rolls over dude...  This year next year doesn't matter.... This year's unused cap space becomes next years.

It had to be done. Any player that gets in the face of a coach on national TV over playing time is a point of no return for both.

Robbie decided that he didn't want to be here the moment he found out Rhule was fired.  It was over for him here and you could see it from the look on his face.

I wish you luck Sideshow Bob. Just not against us.

At least the Cardinals now have someone who will fumble the ball, be soft and shy away from contact, and not fight for the ball in the air.

Dont need to fight when you go long like he is supposed to . Hes pretty much a product of our misusing him.He will score at least 5 tds this season, now.

No, it's $20m total dead money hit. We take $10.2m hit on this year's cap and $9.7m dead money on next year's cap. Free up $12m of 2023 cap space.

Guys the picks don’t matter, the cap we cleared is a HUGE plus. Especially for a new coach. This was a win…I guess…a win from ourselves, we never should have have him that dumbass contract.

this is such an L lol, but whatever, we aren't competing next year either. get those picks, even the 2024/5 ones.

Inevitable conclusion to this saga. Only surprise is that it's the Cardinals and not the Packers.

At least now he has someone who can throw it to him.

Technically, any other team would've be considered an upgrade.

Given how Murray and the Cardinals have been playing, though wouldn't surprise me if he ends up chewing out Murray before season's end.

    • Dude, I think I might be having Jarvy withdrawals... I ripped the sleeves off of all of my t-shirts in my sleep last night. Every bite of my Alpha-Bita cereal spelled Seth, this morning. And, I took 7 naps before lunch. I'm losing it guys! Jarvy's Jaunty Band of Jaggoffs are getting more play than he is... smh Team Canada doesn't treasure Jarvis the way he deserves. He should take his band down to Liechtenstein, get a bag of passports, and start his own Olympic team! The raw animal magnetism of Jarvilicious will bring in a handful of NHLers on its own. And, since the IOC believes in collective punishment, he could have his pick of the rookies. Then, just fill out the rest of the roster with the maple blooded great white northerners who couldn't make the top squad. Can't trust this assembled awesomery to just any old Liechtensteinien with a clipboard and a whistle. Gotta bring in a legend worthy of this gold medal gambit. A hockey HOFer with the balls to buck the system and the aura to match our maverick. Huere geil, Vaduz!!! 2030 Gold Medal guaranteed!
    • Tennessee isn't trading a QB on a 2nd round contract that has starting experience.  That's bad business.
    • OT is the top priority as it is both an immediate and future need.  I wouldn't be past trading up slightly to get the guy we want.  You need that rookie contract right now.  Icky is a dead 17.5 million for the season.  Morton is 20+ mil for the season, Hunt is 20+ mil for the season.  There needs to be forward thinking regarding the future.   Caleb Lomu is a left Tackle, he's a solid prospect, he may be the best pick for us now and in the future.  I would seriously consider cutting Hunt after 2026, and let Lomu and Icky fight for the LT job, loser moves inside.  Icky's future may be at guard after this injury anyway.  If Damien Lewis keeps up his level of play he will need to be paid sooner rather than later.  Yosh and BC can be our top two depth OL at an affordable price.  You will need to look at OT again in 2027. Getting an EDGE for the sake of getting an EDGE outside of the top 10 is pretty risky.  I wouldn't be against eyeing someone like Cashius Howell, Derrick Moore, or TJ Parker in the 2nd (even if we trade a future pick to move up) or DDS in the third. I'd love to see us try to sign both Leo Chenal and Matt Millano in FA.   Chenal for the blitzing element we are missing from our LB corps and Millano for his elite coverage.  They could both work in tandem.  Remember, our FO has deep ties to both KC and Buffalo. I love thinking about the draft, but until Free Agency hits, we are clueless.  Looking at the strength of FA and the draft, OL is priority #1, LB #2, and EDGE #3.  We know what happens to Bryce when protection falls apart.
