Where the hell did you get the idea that people want to get rid of Campen?

The vast majority of this board is praying we keep him.

Indeed, him and Tabor. I wouldnt mind having Wilks back as one of the DB coaches either.

I suspected Campen played a role in the Bozeman signing, same goes for Corbett.

In all honesty, I wouldn't mind keeping WIlks as HC and he can hire a great offensive mind to run the offense and develop a rookie QB. Campen is a great O line coach. Tabor is one of the best special teams coaches. I don't think we have to tear this down to the studs to be successful, jmho.

Can't say Matt Rhule never gave us anything, right? 😕

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while. On balance Rhule's coaching hires look less than brilliant. But yes, Campen for sure looks like a keeper. He seems to be fixing our Oline, count me among the faithful if that continues to be the case.

Judging by who started the season at center I'm not sure Rhule should get credit for that gift.

I'm getting the sense there were differences of opinions on quite a few decisions Rhule made.  I guess we will see now that Fitterer has control and Wilks can make roster decisions.

    • I don't really care as much about athleticism and arm strength.  While Murray might be better in that regard, I think Bryce has enough of both to do well in the NFL. The main reason this trade reference is silly is the money and the fact that Murray has been around a long while and hasn't proven that he can perform consistently when the game is on the line.  Bryce has shown that he can play well in the clutch (in the few opportunities he has had).
    • If Bryce can continue the level of play he showed after the benching, then there's a good shot we at least compete to win the division. Tampa is a solid team but even last year in our week division they went 10-7 and will be on their 4th OC in as many years. The Saints are a mess and are in a mist of a half rebuild half still trying to compete mode and will probably be starting a rookie QB. The Falcons are a wild card as they have a really good offense but are we really crowning Michael Penix as a franchise QB after just 3 games?  The only thing I want out of this season is for Bryce to come out and without a shadow of a doubt prove he's our franchise QB. If that happens then most of the fanbase would be happy and I believe we'd be in a good place record wise at the end of the season. Maybe falling just short of winning the division with a chance to sneak in as a wild card team.
