How can you watch this effort and want to lose ?

rest assured, you will get your wish

losing after this defensive effort assures it

Because it's what's best for the future of the Panthers. If you're not playoff bound every win only decreases your draft capital and actively works against you.

Yup, because HE is way worse.  Like I said earlier, a lot of people crap on PJ, but he is the only QB on yhis roster that gives us a chance to win because he's the only one that has consistently been able to move the ball and make plays without shitting his pants at the slightest sign of pressure.

Baker never looked this bad in Cleveland, but idgaf...  this dude fuging sucks now.  I do NOT want to see him the rest of the year.  He is slow, indecisive, and easily panicked, so he needs to sit his happy ass down for the rest of the season.  This gameplan was fuging garbage because they didn't trust him to pass and it takes him a fuging hour and a half to wind up when he decides he is going to pass.  I fuging hate watching him.

the Ravens are a much better D than some PJ faced, but you're right. I think PJ is fearless, for better or worse lol. I don't know wtf happened to Baker but he was never nearly this bad in CLE...

I don't know what our offensive game plan ever is other than "run ball, run ball, hope for bestttt"

    • Yup. Hopefully  Brandon adds some muscle this off-season but he'll probably be resting his shoulder for a while so I doubt it. Miles should probably be replaced but I don't think we find a better 4th option to be honest. So is it better to add depth along side williams and Coby or try to upgrade the 4/5 . I think adding depth will probably be more beneficial than trying to upgrade starters and bank on Brandon and Kons continuing development. I really don't think they are going to make the playoffs unfortunately. I think the big hole they put themselves in has exhausted them. They've been amazing since January 1 but I think it's come at a cost and their legs are gone.
    • The issue is the predictability of it all in a Bryce Young led offense. In 4th down attempts the Jets were at 41 and we were at 40. And we were 4th in conversation %. We were 25th in the league in 3rd down conversion because we faced so many 3rd and longs in part due to playcalling on 1st and 2nd down but more largely due to the limitations that cannot be overcome.  And people want us to spend another 1st rounder on WR as if it is going to magically give Bryce physical talent he will never possess. It's a shame we cut off our own nose just to put ourselves in this frustrating predicament.
